Hey guys! Just came from my first Sm4sh meetup in a little while and got to pull-off my first ever N-Air => F-Air => F-Air => Air Slash combo with Shulk on Monado Jump! First time means I've also never been able to pull it off on AI HAHAHA. Did it to win a game against the best Yoshi around here and he got salty and grabbed my controller to stop me from saving a replay. Haven't popped off from a game in a while like that. Also performed combotastically with Link today! (As Berserker. would attest) Even got a jab (arrow) lock kill and sick footstool combos but there weren't any replays saved from today because the Yoshi main that owned the unit we were using didn't want him getting rekt caught on video

I came back from the same get-together too. All I did was spam the **** out of perfect pivoting because I can do it pretty consistently left and right now. Lmao

GGs indeed, I actually had to shut off my Beserker Zelda to play defense. Your Zeldon't Get Up In My Grill Tho game was on point. 2sharp4me

It gave me an opportunity to try out my other characters too since there was minimal delay.

I'm trying to learn Meta Knight, but every game, and I'm not exaggerating when I say EVERY GAME I PLAY WITH HIM, THIS HAPPENS:

On the plus side, more people play Zelda when I use the BAN•ZELDA tag, so at least I know a way to make FG easier. I don't have to even use the tr4shy queen herself!
But I did use Zelda against this Sheik player and won 3 times in a row. Every match went like this:
-I get up to 100% before hitting Sheik once
-I get Sheik up to 40% before I get to 140% and die
-I get Sheik up to 80% and then kill her
-I get Sheik to 40% then do some dumb Zelda thing that should never work to kill Sheik and win
Okay I'm done posting my FG experience for today.

on a not too unrelated note I decided to pick up dedede and it's coming along surprisingly well. I still need to lab some edge guarding set ups and work on timing nair for landing with it late as possible with an active hitbox. Can't figure out dair, but otherwise looks good

All I remember is a video he posted where he got Gordo Glitched and died and had voice clips of DarkSydePhil whining.

I usually check character boards first, but this time it's mainly been from scratch. I see why people would want to play him in this game though good range for neutral, a lot of his moves hit satisfyingly hard and can get a lot of fundamentals. doesn't really fix his downsides which is the mobility of a bowling ball

so I played billiards during my break/vacation

i had a supposed easy straight shot which seemed so easy (and it was)

but because i'm the master in billiards, i managed to hit the cue ball such that it jumped over the ball i was suppose to hit then the cue ball went inside the hole
