*****, I never said that. We're still taking Macchiato's opinions seriously? At one point, he said that Din's Fire was more reliable than Robin's Arcfire.
...
See, it's still funny.
I still think is too overhyped. I don't see what else he has going for him other than great kill power.Look I can turn the other cheek on litterally every other choice you made for who's worse than Zelda Except Roy
like no
I rather believe Sheik isn't the best character in Smash 4 and than believe that Zelda is more Viable than Roy
Yeah that's cuz it's MAIN•SHEIK becuz she's da best.There's a reason why it's BAN•ZELDA and not BAN•SHEIK
How does this relate to Smash? Is that the name of those phamplets you gave out for the Church of Falcon or whatever it's called?Reading Rainbow
Probably refers to reading your opponent and punishing bad habits of your opponents. How does this relate to Smash? Is that the name of those phamplets you gave out for the Church of Falcon or whatever it's called?

Pick SheikSo I'm going to give a short presentation to some plebs on Tuesday about an intro to competitive Smash. Is there anything I should include other than the following:
- Mastering the basic controls
- Learning your main
- Understanding advantages/disadvantages
- Secondaries
- Stage selection
- Reading Rainbow
- How to properly train
- Understanding the goal is "how to play better" rather than "how to win"
Thank you for your input. I see you and I are very like-minded in our selection of mains.Pick Falcon
Solid PokesI still think is too overhyped. I don't see what else he has going for him other than great kill power.
also of course isn't the best character. There's a reason why it's BAN•ZELDA and not BAN•SHEIK
yes he does have kill combosan actual grab/throw game with kill set ups (though not kill combos)
Pokes are pretty average, nothing too impressiveSolid Pokes

disjoints
mobility
scary advantage because of the above + kill power
The obvious "how to not get salty over a loss"So I'm going to give a short presentation to some plebs on Tuesday about an intro to competitive Smash. Is there anything I should include other than the following:

Looool thats literally what I thought about Zelderp.I still think is too overhyped. I don't see what else he has going for him other than great kill power.
It really does sound a lot like Zelda!Pokes are pretty average, nothing too impressive
Combo game is good, but not overwhelming
Disjoints, for a sworded character his range is short. Also I don't think he has that many good safe moves.
Mobility, thas a definite yes.
Scary Kill power... Yes, but it requires a hard read.
He still has recovery, him being combo meat, range-kinda, no projectile, and landing(?) as weaknesses. I just don't think he's that good.
I feel like Jiggz has to play similar to her Melee iterationDoc is > Jiggs anyday in terms of character strengths. Jigglypuff is just unfortunate.
She can't threaten a lot of characters directly (even Doc can do this), nothing she has is safe and her kill options are decidedly quite....uh....something. She's outranged by virtually everyone (even Doc IIRC) and her goal is to try and poke people. It is inherently a problem but I doubt she's bottom 3 (nor is Doc for that matter wat)
Dr. Mario being anywhere near the Bottom 10 though is something I can't think of. His recovery really isn't terribad unless the Doc doesn't know what he's doing or is legit outplayed (which happens to 80% of the roster who aren't literally unchallenged offstage) and his mobility is only decidedly below average on the ground (his air speed is actually average/middling). He also has one of the best shield games in the entire game which is still relevant even with the shield nerf which is damn commendable. The character's inherent strengths prevent him from being exceptionally awful, it's when people stop approaching him like Mario when this becomes less of an issue. His recovery isn't inherently bad, his disadvantage bleeds into his recovery but that's the big issue. His disadvantage. On a game per game basis he's pretty good but in a whole tournament going solo Doc presents a lot of risk because of random volatile stock loss but he's in no way near Bottom 10 (don't think his MUs are bad enough to warrant it, personally.)
The character really only needs better ways to get out of disadvantage and preserve his double jump and he'd be really really good. Right now I'd rank him as below average, I'd say in the regions of mid-lowish. He's more overlooked than say, Jiggs, but as a character I think he's better.
Yeah I think the only issue is her feet got cut off from Melee and now it's just....stumps =(I feel like Jiggz has to play similar to her Melee iteration
Aka git gud at footsies
Street Fighter style

I've been playing some SSF2 a lot recently and I'm in love with a lot of characters in that game. But it's a bit unpolished, like some frame rate dips and some random bugs.Afternoon girls. How's everyone doing?
Last time I touched a fan made Smash game in Flash was that Super Smash Flash on Newgrounds... it was bad. Very bad.I've been playing some SSF2 a lot recently and I'm in love with a lot of characters in that game. But it's a bit unpolished, like some frame rate dips and some random bugs.
Currently playing on 5 stocks and 3 min, no items, and on certain stages.
I'll be honest, that guy wasn't the scrub I expected. He's far from the best European Link though. Do you mind if I ask the Link boards if they know this guy?Afternoon girls. How's everyone doing?
Just had my breakfast since I got up pretty late. (I felt like I needed it anyways) And I just had a set of comments by someone named Kishin2 on Miiverse.
Funny thing is, he thinks I'm some FG Player that got mad at him. :V
Clearly, he thinks I'm HomeDog PzaSlice. :V (I don't even main Lucario. )
Oh, I remember playing that. That was the first game, Super Smash Flash. It was absolutely terrible but pretty decent as it was made by only one person.Last time I touched a fan made Smash game in Flash was that Super Smash Flash on Newgrounds... it was bad. Very bad.
Two Sonic OCs, Naruto, Mr. Incredible too. (Seriously!?)
I don't mind at all.I'll be honest, that guy wasn't the scrub I expected. He's far from the best European Link though. Do you mind if I ask the Link boards if they know this guy?
I///Z//aw has never even used SSB4 Link in a tournament and Izombies worship him. He just happens to be the Link with the biggest ego in Europe
Pshaw, no kill power is far from Mewtwo's problem. It's just that EVERYONE has kill power when fighting him, that's the real issue. Why are people saying Mewtwo has no kill power? He's about as strong as Zelda for the most part which isn't bad at all. And if he ever gets to rage Mewtwo is a tad scary.
Only reason I dont main Mewtwo is I play a bit unsafely at times and prefer to die around 90% and not 40%. I swear Mewtwo on average dies faster than Jigglypuff
Sans asked the moderators to not allow that.Wish I could change the displayed font on this website for the month of October cause I want to be thematically accurate.
I ignore people online who PO me enough. Everyone's happier that way.Edit: Oh god, my Miiverse post on Medabots is turning into a discussion thread on being called a Spammer/Camper. ._.
Shall I delete my Miiverse post? :V
They're too good. Can we nerf them please?
Bowser & Ganon share something in common then.
The problem is Ganon's flame choke drops through pass-through stages like that if it misses too. Halberd and Delfino are no friend of Ganon's ledge game.

How's ol' Smokey doing? Enjoying that perma ban?link mains tend to come into two rather unpleasant flavors, the spammer who is so deep into his spamming he thinks he's good at smash and the Link Social who is like being right next to a sleeping lion there are of course exception i certainly know/know of link mains who are nice and lovable people, but i swear those guys are the exception and not the rule
do you just wait in every thread he has ever gone to find the perfect opportunity to rub it in his face? How's ol' Smokey doing? Enjoying that perma ban?
Reminds me of this:
So that's how you make low tiers viable. BREAK THE GAME!Reminds me of this:
Funny thing is, that wasn't my original intent for being here. You happened to say something though, and I just HAD to add to some spices to that pot you'd begun to stir.do you just wait in every thread he has ever gone to find the perfect opportunity to rub it in his face?
I don't know to be amazed at your tenacity or appalled by your actions
phew you had me worried that you really didn't have other better things to doFunny thing is, that wasn't my original intent for being here. You happened to say something though, and I just HAD to add to some spices to that pot you'd begun to stir.
