Me~

And is it gets laggy we can always turn on jank customs
Ok here's what you do.

Go into Nammy's room (it's ok I give you permission). Take the router to your living room. He can have it back when he wants to play League with me. Also, how was Korea?

you play rosalina, jank is always set to on
I should be proud of myself for having the jank toggle on permanently

Can I get a sticker for that @BJN39 mummy?

He won't let me because of wires :V

I'll just move the Wii U

Korea was really fun.

Internet cafes literally scream League and Yongsan had this MASSIVE sketchy game store

I got myself a :4jigglypuff::rosalina: amiibo so yay

And got a GC adapter and controller so double yay

Define tourney ready? Because that is a lot of characters. Like, an impressive amount from what my impression of tourney ready would be.
Characters that I can confidently use in tourneys. Some of them I haven't had a chance to use them in an actual tourney.

In other words, I know the inns and outs of these characters.

16 is so many, though. There's a reason why top players focus on 1 or 2 (or maybe even 3, but even that is a lot) characters. Any more than that and it gets difficult to know how to use them effectively and what to do when with whom, etc. While you're putting in time to learn and use 16 different characters, other people are spending time on their 1 or 2 characters and are getting really good with them. To be blunt, 16 is ridiculous because there is no way you can use them all at a high level. I'm sure you're betting with, say, Zelda and Mii Swordfighter than a lot of the other characters. In my opinion, you should drop most of them (or relegate them to friendlies if you really want to play them), and put your time and effort into 2 or maybe even 3 characters. Honestly, it'll only help you improve if you do that.

Also, how are you? I saw that you've been posting that you've been doing better.

Why do people keep saying Zelda lost her intangibility on Nayru's?

AFAIK she hasn't, and if she has it should be documented somewhere.
This is probably another case of false assumptions about Zelda that make me go triggeringintensifies on everyone

To Rickster's credit, several tier lists and youtube videos keep pointing out how she lost it during early WII U patches otherwise she'd be better.

It keeps throwing me off too. And making me scared.

Aero's website says that she's intangible from frame 5 to frame 12. It's not like those 8 frames of intangibility are all that useful anyway.

Did some traveling huh? That explains why you seemed to have vanished for a while.

Sounds like you had a good time though.

Good to have you back now.

IKR. In ESAM's Tier List video. All his remarks about Zelda were false statements.

"You should never be able to hit a Lightning Kick on a good player due to how slow it is"
OK, Yes there are Laggy but they are not Slow. They come out on frame 6 & 8 I think and they are great oos options.

"Nayru's Love lost all its invincibility"
First of all, it never had invincibility. Only intangibility which still exists fyi.

"Her Neutral is really bad because Fair and Bair don't autocancel"
Haven't you heard of dtilt which is safe, jab, nair, and dash attack? This isn't brawl where her neutral were just kicks

"Her recovery is only OK"
WHAT! A long distance recovery that can't be hit is bad. Yes there is that one frame, but Zelda can hold down to punish edgeguard attempts.

ESAM please learn some things about Zelda before you completely throw out false accusations. thanks k bye

So I just got done watching Sound! Euphorium. It was good. Good story and characters. Very good humor. Was laughing quite a bit. Shout outs to any time they use the phrase "blow me" in a situation involving personifying an instrument and the "That's kinda hot" scene.

@EODM07 You talked about this show I think at one point right?
What did you think of the yuri again? Personally was disappointed by the end, though it was cute throughout.

Also, do you know what popular animes are currently going on and where can I find information to know about that kind of stuff?

omg there was a Zelda player playing on stream in my region's weekly tourney just now I was getting excited ready to see her win--

Until the player decided to use FW as a landing option and spam Din's Fire and shorthop Fairs recklessly.

And then run into a fully charged Ganondorf Fsmash and die at 50%

wtf

Playing on a new controller, not playing smash for over a week, and using the gamepad as a screen is a pleasant experience~

You did really well.

The lag did suck tho.

Aether is incredibly annoying. You just either have to wait me out or predict me to do it and edgeguard beforehand. Some characters can grab or counter, but mostly, just wait.

I feel like knowing the ins and outs of characters doesn't really qualify them as tournament ready. Sure I know a lot of Zelda stuff from you guys but that doesn't mean I can just whip out Zelda in a tournament.

In fact I'd say I know at least half the cast fairly well. I can at least tell you their movesets and what each move could be used for.

Oh, I'm quite aware of that. Like I said most of them I haven't even used in tourneys. I just like to use a lot of characters instead of limiting myself on one or two characters, it gets boring after awhile. Besides, among them I have especially concentrated on 1 or 2 characters that I'll be using in tourneys like Zelda.

However, I don't find myself not improving because of the amount of characters that I use. There's always room fro improvement. If it was the case, I wouldn't perform very well in my local 2 days ago. Thanks for the advice.

I'm doing a lot better, thankfully. Going to try to avoid getting that sick ever again.

Palutena's too hard to play for how bad she is
is.
She's hard to play but I think she's capable of a lot more than people think. She can't be too bad if she's able to compete with and take games off people like Ally and Fatality.

Anyways, I'm bored. Anyone wanna play?

Well, it does for me. I spend a lot of time on these characters instead of just reading about them.

Like labbing, learning techs and such.

Is-is there a secret to FastFalling? Some sort of hidden technique I don't know about? With Zelda's dramatic "ASCENDING!" jump animation I find myself flicking down with my control stick 3-4 times before she actually begins FFing, which leads to a delay and me panicking about which move to use if my opponent is approaching. I also have this problem out of hit stun.

Or just trying to FF at all. I watch other players just flick it once almost immediately and I know it's invaluable as a way to get us quick ground options and fake out approaches, as well as get Zelda a bit more mobile but it feels awkward AF. Even just messing around in training I end up ripping my control stick off in the downward direction from frustration and the feeling of "lag" involved after flicking it three times.

Or maybe it's just something you get used to eventually, like SHing consistently. I'm bad at mid tier and 'advanced' SM4SH tech :drshrug:

Nairo took games off of Dabuz and beat Nietono and Nakat with Zelda and she's still not a high tier. Skill not character.

Palu is bad, but not Doc DDD bad
