Three main ones, but there are a bunch in-between. For example, a non-charged Phantom does like....6? But if you charge it just a bit more (but not enough to go to the second stage) it can do 7, 8, etc.

Well I don't really know since I don't play him but...generally Pit does better up close right? So maybe you should be more aggressive

1.) Listen to HYPE-er Dark Pit theme

2.) Watch Nairo videos (Or any other hype Dark Pit pro)

3.) Experiment in training mode (Me and @ Berserker. don't even go to the DPit boards and like we found out stuff like you could actually chaingrab with FF cancelled U-Airs and regrabbing combos at low percents)

4.) Practice again and again until you pull off everything you learned very casually (Like @ Berserker. when he used to repeat doing those Monado Jump combos in training till it became muscle memory... freaking robot)

5.) Up your practice by doing everything you do in actual fights. Do everything you practiced in fights and keep fighting till you can pull everything off casually

I myself am lacking with Dark Pit. There's a massive hole in my Dark Pit game. Although I know that Dark Pit can edgeguard very well, my Dark Pit is useless against characters that are hard to edgeguard and characters that are just so hard to hit (Yoshi for example)

I was curious for my Villager testing and Thinkaman said there's uncharged down swipe, partially charged down swipe, partially charged uppercut, and fully charged uppercut unless I was understanding him wrong.

Pretty cool theme, but his XY battle theme has a higher likely hood of getting into Smash (I don't think any side games have tracks in Smash which is a shame because I'd love me some Colosseum/XD/Mystery Dungeon songs).

It's alright! Training never stops! You learn something new everyday.

FF = Fast-fall

Since U-Air has a lot of hits, if you pull your character downwards before the U-Air finishes (therefore the "cancel") while Dark Pit is hitting someone with U-Air, it "pseudo-meteors" and in this case the chaingrabbing here comes in when you pseudo-meteor them back to the stage and grab them again and repeat till it doesn't work.

Grab => D-Throw => U-Air FF Cancel (Repeat till it doesn't work since it's variable per character probably)

5.) Jump off a bridge.

Don't worry abbreviations are tough, especially when you play multiple games.

FF means Forfeit or Final Fantasy or Final Fight sometimes.
