We can point fingers at each other all we want, but at the end of the day, we are all still trying our best. We might have different opinions about Zelda as a character, but to claim that all the Zelda mains just aren't trying hard enough is pretty absurd. I mean, if we weren't trying hard enough with such a character we would switch a LOOOONG time ago.

We probably can all agree that Zelda has problems. LOTS of them. Will ledge cancelling stuff help her? Yes it would, if one is perfect in execution and positioning. Will it make her high tier? Time will tell, but guesses lean to no.

Zelda will never be considered a real threat if she doesn't get any results in offline tourneys. Unless a miracle happens, the amount of time to fully show Zelda's potential is ticking really fast.

Who's been getting Top 5 on every tourney he/she has entered (be it online or offline, either predominately or soloing Zelda)? Who's been trying to figure out %s for particular combos to work on particular characters? Who's top 5 in their region, where the others of the Top 5 use top/high tier threats like Rosalina, Peach, Fox & Sheik (& said Fox main getting top 5 in tourneys in mainland UK where the player base is much larger than is of Ireland)?

You completely dodged my question and don't know what you're talking about. Link loses his offstage game, kill setups, combos and ledge defending on wifi. Bomb fuses and boomerang catches are inconsistent to keep track of. He's a frame trap and punish heavy character; without reads Link gets heavily nerfed. I've lost a ton of kills from Fsmash 1ing then trying to read if it hit before Fsmash 2ing and having the opponent escape.

You're good at wifi but there's a reason why EVERYONE else is saying Zelda is bad. It's not because people aren't trying. Insulting people who have a different opinion like they're ignorant of the character they use offline is low.

About Wifi, it screws the player more than the characters. You want to play a character in an advanced way? Nope, lag. This is true for Zelda, Link, Mario, Mewtwo or anyone.
roll spammers on the other hand, can spam rolls and win because punishing them is uber difficult

It's worse for Zelda. Her moves all have to be precise which doesn't work online. Farore's wind is janky at times too. So does Zelda's combos and edgeguarding. You asked me what characters I played offline so I answered you. And 2 I never insulted anyone for having a different opinion, now your just twisting words. You don't think I've been insulted for thinking that WiiFit is top 15? exactly.
