CRASHiC
Smash Hero
From plays to non.
Harry Waters: In Bruges
Minotaur: Tekkonkinkreet
Lady Eboshi: Princess Nacasaci
MacBeth and Lady MacBeth: MacBeth
I'm actually a bigger fan of internal conflict, so making this list is difficult for me to do, but if I had to make one, this would be it.
Harry Waters is just so perfect, he has a recognizable flaw taken to an extreme (pride), is not oversaturated but used only where necessary in the movie, we don't even see his face until over half way through, and that 1/3rd of the movie when he is there he leaves a defining impression.
Minotaur is the personification of internal conflict.
Lady Eboshi I found really interesting because she caused internal conflict for myself. Her actions seem so deplorable, and have caused so much misfortune, and it was her intent to cause this misfortune, but she does this all to help and save those without anywhere else to go.
Then the MacBeth's, OH! The MacBeths, such wonderfully crafted characters. There in burning desires, pride, guilt, fear, I honestly couldn't think of a better villain.
Really, making this list made me realize how much more I prefer Inner conflict to a definable antagonist. I had a lot of trouble picking out many character villains that left a mark on me.
