But Ridley was bigger than the picture posted in Zero MissionZero Mission was a remake of the original Metroid.
SPOKEN LIKE A GODThese are the characters I believe WILL get no matter what in no particular order:
1. Sonic - How does it make sense tto allow 3rd party characters and NOT put in Sonic? Honestly!
2. Ridley- He is a big part of the Metroid series which Nintendo is trying to make their big FPS franchise. It makes sense to add more Metroid characters.
3. Diddy Kong- He is just as assential as Wario. He is DK's sidekick. If Mario gets Luigi, DK, the 2nd most important nintendo character should get his.
4. Geno- Because everyone is whining about him. I don't see how they could not put him in if there is such a demand.
5. Megaman- He is the other 3rd party character that just makes sense. He has hundreds of moves that he could have from all his games and did I mention he is from a very popular side scroller than originated on NES? He's almost a sure thing.
So IMO, it's almost set that the 3rd party characters will be Sonic, Megaman and Snake.
YES! get rid of Falco!WELL... I may as well point out some different faces:
1. Bomberman- Yes I've been whining about this for a while. He has been on numerous successful games on Nintendo's consoles. The majority of moves wouldn't consider bombs and explosions either; he needs some exercize. Bomberman 64: The Second Attack! had him equipped with elemental bombs, which would fit nicely into his B moves. He's also a retro character, which is a plus. I believe Bomberman has been overlooked.
2. "Tales of" series character- Two games, Tales of Phantaisa (SNES, remade on GBA) and Tales of Symphonia (GC) are great games that could also invole Namco into Brawl. The main character of Phantasia, Cless, may have a better chance, coming from a SNES past and being around longer. The main of Symphonia, Lloyd Irving, is a duel-weilding sword user that could also mix things up in the sword group. All Tales games feature a linear-battle system of sorts that relates a bit to Smash, making them easy to fit in. Tho overall, Cless would have the better chance.
3. King Dedede- I always thought some universes were ignored a bit, like Kirby's, which makes me happy with the addition of Meta Knight. The King, however, has been around just as long and made a name for himself. Sure, he may never be the final main bad guy in the games, but he deserves his place among the villans roster. Least he's got charisma!
4. Wolf O' Donnell- Speaking of villans, Wolf from StarFox is one I consider to be one of the more expected characters in Brawl. Really, Smash should try and balance the good/evil sides of video games as much as they can. He's got his theme song already set (only 1...) and can possibly have his own move set, different from Fox. They might as well replace Falco altogether and have Wolf fill his place.
5. Lyndis- Yes, this sword-weilding vixen from Fire Emblem 7 has entranced us all. She comes from the first game released in America that introduced us to the universe that Roy and Marth hail from. She's an agile fighter with plenty of different possibilities for a moveset. I'd rather see her rather than any other Lord from FE. It's also another way to boost the female representation in Brawl, which is always a good thing.
Of course, nothing is absolute. But chances are that we'll see some
character ending with "man" in Brawl...
Just because you can't beat me when I'm Falco doesn't mean he should leave.YES! get rid of Falco!
But that's the point. If you add characters that might not fit, then the game gets more fun and more intense. Adding Boo, is just what a game like Brawl needs, because people think of melee when they think of Brawl, and we need something to set it apart from that. There is no way Boo will ever make it as a playable character in the game. And basically the only reason why is that he floats lol.
I think Luigi is pretty much in. Even so, who else would you want in besides him.Dudes I want
1. Luigi
2. Baby Luigi
3. Baby Mario
4. Sonic
5. Rayman
Its the perfect group!
HEADDY WOULD BE AWESOME!, I was thinking about that while playin an emulator of it, but i didnt think anyone else would consider him.. I think it would be cool for a grab if it worked kind of like link or samus in that its ranged, but instead pulls headdy over to the enemy instead of the way it works normally.1: Fulgore (Killer Instinct/2/Gold)
2: Dark Samus (Metroid Prime 2)
3: Sheriff (Sheriff)
4: Diddy Kong (Donkey Kong Country)
5: Dynamite Headdy (3rd party, Dynamite Headdy)
Mewtwo was the most powerful Pokémon and he's not exactly the best character in Melee.i am afraid ridley would become overpowered if he made it in brawl; he has great reach, powerful attacks, he is fast, and he has a great recovery. plus i think his wings would be an issue; they take up a lot of space, they are cumbersome, and i don't think he can fold them up like a moth.
