Needs more bombs and nair. Less fsmash and upb.

EDIT- he also needs to learn to milk drink. He's not doing it right and got usmashed for it :/.

Planted arrow is so bad. He's better off doing arrowing in the air then just standing there using more frames to charge it up. Either way arrows aren't that good. Bombs are better for any matchup. Young Link's jab as an edgegaurd is bad. Dtilt isn't much better. D-smash should always be the choice when you're on stage. Nair is the off stage choice. Both are awesome against recovering spacies.

OMFG DID HE REALLY JUST TAUNT FOR NO ****ING REASON?!?!?! No boomerang throw? No back up plan? No nothing.. He deserved EVERY single bit of that upsmash. Good shiiiiiiiiit!

You're better off Nairing a firefox then throwing your boomerang at him. At least the Nair knocks him away then just taps him.



So I just felt like watching the first match. I may watch the others tomorrow. But for now back to Ouran HSHC.

In short from what I seen: He's okay. Not good yet not horrible either. He just needs to learn what to do in certain situations. I think he believes that his Up B actually helps him if he just throws it out there. Which is un-true vs Fox.

Also I liked the hardcore FF battle theme. **** got me hyped and now I wanna summon Aeons..

im no young link pro or anything, but i like to try some down throw tech chasing with young link on occasion.

He needs to stop upb its not worth the lag. He retreating boomerangs which is good.
Fsmash is bad IMO. He should grab a lot more.
Maybe gimp with Nair.
I watched 2 videos, the one with his Ylink vs your Falco on YS was better.

He can't grab me lol. We've played eachother too much. someone else though he'd probably grab more often. The Nair Edgeguard is something I might do or something he might do when we are playing and its not being recorded. Although he's got me with it using YL and Samus a few times last time we played.

My theory is that if Young Link isn't making the match last at least 5 minutes, he's probably doing something wrong. At least, I often do better with the little guy when I draw matches out for eons.

My matches with Young Link never lasts 5 minutes unless I'm playing against a Peach or Jiggs. Then I pretty much take the entire 8 minutes (Depending on how impatient the opponent is).

My matches lasts 3-5 minutes unless I'm fighting a camping charcater.
