What in your opinion are yoshi do's and donts.
IF YOU DISAGREE with someone, Discuss! You hurt the community if you donT.

You can speak character specific or in general.

figure it out your self through tourney experience which will let you have your own style of play. I think this is one of those stupid stereo-type yoshi board threads

Do's and Don't's are just for the most part obvious and there is really no need to point it out sorry it offends you

A bit obvious, but use as little egg roll (Over+B-Obviously, though for those not following xD) as possible in extreme lag. Or when using a controller that computes the buttons badly. xD

I learned the hard way a few times online.

I've pretty much learned my do's and don'ts through experience though... From both Brawl and Melee. And definitely the opening game day matches at the Gamestop tourny. As well as my mistakes and opponents mistakes. So I see what Lil B is talking about...

And besides, everyone has a different play style, so what works with someone isn't going to work with everyone else all the time.

I find his dash attack to be pretty good with good range but the ending lag is pretty long.

Don't use the MK combo. (Spotdodge/DSmash)

Nah, there's two variations:

Spotdodge -> D Smash -> Spotdodge -> DSmash -> Spotdodge -> D Smash until it hits or until you back off

Or they can do:

D Smash x (X amount of times until it hits)

Don't blindly use dowb+b to get back to the stage from being knocked up high. I've learned plenty of times that it has no priority whatsoever. Using it on the ground however is ok.

Yoshi has a good spot dodge to d smash just look at his frame data...

Well at least when hitting at the front it's sort of really fast.
