this is a problem, I count on average 7-8 threads per update. Some updates getting as many as 12-13 threads.

This has to stop. I dunno what this thread is gonna do, maybe if it was sticked the noobs might read the title? (because god knows they never bother to read the thread itself)

who am I kidding, they just ignore everything and spam these boards up everytime theres an update like they were the first ones to know. It's getting tiring.

We need to do something about this, I would suggest more severe consequences for threads about updates, like oh I dunno, being banned immediatly.

What does the rest of the forum think? As someone who stays in this section a lot im really starting to get aggrivated by the spam fest that these nubcakes think they're entitled to because the website updated.

Mic has given 9 warnings so far. NINE. WARNINGS. I figured he was going to take action soon, and I really do feel bad for the guy because when I put myself in the shoes of a mod of THIS forum, I see myself banning 10-15 people a day. And punching my computer screen.

I dunno why these guys do it..it's not THAT hard to just look and see if the thread isn't posted already...geez..
There shouldn't be ANY new threads. We pretty much have everything covered already from ''will brawl suck?'' to stage discussion, to an UPDATES THREAD THAT IS STICKIED AT THE TOP OF THE FORUM!!

It just bows my friggin' mind.

Or maybe it is newmembers who didn't read the rules?

I still haven't read the rules, but I don't make threads much anyways.

I agree.
Some deeply hidden evil side of myself kind of finds it funny to see people post this crap and get warned for it, but after my good conscience repeatedly smashed the bad one's head against a wall, I realize that poor McFox and Mic deserve our respect and compassion for having to take care of a forum filled with idiots.

On the MUGEN Fighters Guild forums, we have a saying:

Chances are you are not a moderator. Don't try to act like one.

You do realize this thread is spam, right?

Flaming people for breaking the rules... IS BREAKING THE RULES. There is this awesome feature called the report button. When you press it, you don't have to type out a message or flame anyone (which, might I add, doesn't contribute to solving the problem).

Mic knows what he has to do every day. He chooses to be a mod and closing threads on a daily basis is a responsibility of being a mod. Instead of making threads complaining, obey the rules and report rule breakers.

If people are spamming with new threads now even after two stickies, what makes you think they will stop if this becomes a sticky? They are clearly ignoring the stickies.

So... DON'T FLAME. REPORT SPAM TOPICS. OBEY THE RULES.

That is all.

Although I disagree with it, GaryCXJk is right.

"Chances are you are not a moderator. Don't try to act like one."

Is actually a rule on smashboards if you've read that thread. And everyone in this thread is going to get warnings or points including myself but I had to make that known -_-
