Ok well Phillies are in the world series(congrats) Tonight is game 5 of the ALCS and Yankees are leading the series 3-1. Now i don't wanna make it like the Yankees are Un defeatable because that would be stupid showing the fact we haven't one an ALCS since 2001, but i think that the Yankees are gonna win tonight because of how low the Angels moral is after the last game. So Lets say the Yankees win game 5 and go to the Series....Who you GOT.

Yankees:

Phillies:
1.

I'm a Mets fan. So...

Mets hate Yankees

Mets hate Phillies

So I'll hate the World Series.
But Yanks will win cause New York > Philly.

Woh, the angels are still in this thing son. Remember the Red Sox/Cleveland ALCS series of 2007 when Cleveland was up 3-1 or even worse for Yankee fans the Yankees/Red Sox ALCS of 2004. I think the angels get a miricle and come back for the series win.

What's ironic is whoever wins the world series of the three times will be tied with the Red Sox for being the team of the 2000's decade. Yankees won it all in 2000, Angles in 2002, and the Phillies in 2008. If New York wins I guess you'd have to give the title to them due to making it to the World Series in 2001 and 2003 and falling flat. The Phillies and Angels hadn't been to the World Series other than their championships. New York would also have more playoff appearances.

The Yankees have got this thing. A-Rod has turned from post-season embarrassment into an October monster. It's their year to lose. If the Yankees don't win it all, it'll be for one of two reasons. First, they'll just play well below what they're capable of. The alternative is that the umps make so many bad calls that it skews the series. Sounds improbable until you look at the ump-age overall this post-season.

Well I'm a Red Sox fan. Here's my two cents. Yankees will win. No doubt about it. But the reason they will win is because of A-roid and bad umpire calls. :3
Just kiddin' But seriously, the Yanks will win. Anehiem has a slight chance, but Yanks will stop them with their amazing batting. :/

I think you forget who the World ****ing Champions are.
2000: Yanks
2001: D-backs
2002: Angels
2003: Marlins
2004: Red Sox
2005: White Sox
2006: Cards
2007: Red Sox
2008: Phils

There hasn't been a repeat winner this decade so be world champs doesn't mean anything.
Although I admit that the Phils are a good team even though I hate them.

That ending was pretty dramatic too. I expected a strikeout or a grand slam. But it was a pop fly :/

Then I got to watch a good episode of Seinfeld :3

w/e, you were 1 out from being ****ed in a CC Sabathia vs. Joe Blanton game.

I'm not gonna front and pretend the Phillies have a good chance to win this, but it's not impossible if our pitchers not name Cliff Lee could get their **** together (I guess Pedro didn't pitch poorly either).

And I'd settle for alternating Jayson Werth and Chase Utley for 9 batting slots :p.

Ah, last night was classic. Johnny Damon was the man with his crazy at-bat and crazier base-running. Super props to A-Rod for getting the biggest hit of his career, and also for pretty much winning the game, and for taking yet another pitch to the body. Philly pitchers seem to like hitting him these days.

As for tonight, I'm not too concerned. It would be nice for the Yankees to finish the job, but I'd kind of rather have them win at home. Either way, the Yankees are 27 outs away from #27. Get hyped.

For real, how come whenever the Phils are pitching well, the batters hit the ball, but when our pitching blows so does our batting. It is infuriating.

-watches tonights game-
As i said before: Lee is a BEAST (too bad Shapiro had to trade him from the Tribe...)
Even though the Yankees got 5...Phils still have 8 in the top of the 8th. I think they can keep their lead.
