The central antagonist of the Battletoads series, here predominantly inspired by her appearance in the DIC TV show pilot. She only has a small pool of attacks from her various appearances - namely turning into fire and turning into a tornado - so I'd combine the pair by having her appear in front of the player, transform into a burning tornado, and rapidly move forward (multi-hitting opponents in the process, and levitating if she goes offstage.) She also blocks projectiles that hit her, but if she's interrupted by a wall, she'll stop. At the end of the attack, she stops spinning and levitates, laughing maniacally before seemingly teleporting away to disappear from play.
Grunts are the most basic and perhaps the most iconic enemy type in the Halo series and come in multiple ranks with different weapons.
A random Grunt (Minor (Orange), Major (Red), Specialist (Green) and Ultra (White)) is summoned and will attack nearby enemies with their equipped weapon. Minors will use the Plasma Pistol and can overcharge it to deal an attack that deals heavy damage, Majors and Ultras will use Needlers which, after hitting a foe 7 times, will cause a super combine explosion that does heavy damage and knockback whilst Specialists have Fuel Rod Cannons which fire direct explosives and can, at certain angles, bounce off of the ground and walls. Ultras also have extra armour so they can sustain more damage before they are KO'd, all Grunts can also throw Plasma Grenades. When KO'd the Grunt explodes into a shower of confetti with the birthday party cheer playing in reference to the Grunt Birthday Party Skull. If the player that summoned them is KO'd the Grunt will instead run around the stage in terror or pull out two Plasma Grenades and pursue the nearest player in an attempt to blow them up. The Grunts will also have some funny lines to say whilst they are present.
The Kantus are a somehwat important member in the Locust army, often being used to summon riftworms to sink human cities and as valuable combat support in the field. When summoned here, a Kantus is able to attack with a Gorgon Pistol and throw Ink Grenades which will cause a black haze around a small area that deals minor damage over time. Additionally the Kantus is able to heal it's summoner if they're close enough. If the Kantus is KO'd on the spot it will also explode into a cloud of black ink unless they were KO'd by an explosion.
Berserker
An enemy from Gears of War. It will run across the screen, shoulder charging through the stage and knocking any opponents in its path over. They'll then stomp to finish their rampage, shaking the ground.
Hammer
A party member from Fable 2. She'll appear in stage slam down her giant hammer, creating shockwaves around her that will stun foes.
Zeus
Yes. The actual Greek God. This actually comes from the spin off game Age of Mythologies, but I think it should still count. Zeus will appear in the sky and start to throw down lightning bolts onto the stage.
Marumaro
A party member from Blue Dragon. He 'll do a dance, and sing a song that will create a round barrier around him that will damage any does who get too close.

Assist Origin: Perfect Dark (2000)
Franchise: Perfect Dark
A member of the Maian race of aliens, aligned with the Carrington Institute and sworn enemies of the Skedar, Elvis is the deuteragonist of Perfect Dark. As for his function, when summoned, he'll appear beside the player and use a FarSight XR-20 to fire a powerful singular shot which passes through enemies, objects, and even walls. It's massively powerful, but only gets fired once and directly forward, in spite of its surprisingly large range.
Assist Name: Kalus
Assist Origin: Kameo: Elements of Power (2005)
Franchise: Kameo
One of the two main antagonists of Kameo: Elements of Power, Kalus is the rightful heir to the throne of the Elven Queen, but was unfairly snubbed in favour of Kalus - setting into motion the game's plot as revenge. When summoned, Kalus will summon three Rock Trolls, which charge forward and can carry along opponents who are hit by them all the way offstage.
A builder from the Viva Piñata series who specialises in building houses for Piñatas, as well as other buildings like produce stations. He appears throughout the series as a reoccuring character, so I think there's precedent for his inclusion. When summoned, he suddenly throws up a building tent which he enters, presumably working (or eating a sandwich) inside - and, if an opponent goes near the tent, he'll exit it and smack them over the head with his shovel before pulling the tent down. The tent only lasts for around 10 seconds, but can be a surprisingly effective trapping tool.
A playable character from the series' beginnings, Glacius would here be seen in his Killer Instinct 2 design. As for his function, when activated, he'll appear beside the player and use his Cold Shoulder special, sliding rapidly forward and shoulder-checking opponents in the process. If said opponents are at a high enough level of damage, they'll even be frozen by the attack.
Fizzybear
A major character from the Viva Piñata series. A big friendly pinata, it will roll into the stage and start to knock into anyone in its way. It will leave a trial of candy in its wake, which can be used for healing.
Snare
An immensely powerful plant Elemental Warrior from Kameo. It will rise up out of the ground and attempt to chomp up the fighters in its mighty jaws. it does this a few times before disappearing
Riptor
Riptor will jump around the stage, latching into fighters and clawing and biting them. Will also spit acid.
Elvis is the perfect PD pick so I'll skip that one
Assist Ideas:
Professor Pester(Viva Pinata) - The series main Antagonist who, when summoned will inflict poison for the duration of his time summoned, referencing when his role in corrupting characters into evil versions of themselves(Can't be defeated)
Sabrewulf(Killer Instinct) - Will run across the stage slashing and biting at opponents(Defeatable)
Will skip Perfect Dark and Kameo because I agree with DarkVortex for Elvis and we need some beasts for Kameo to turn into during moveset
Tom Tom Gang
A villain group from the first Blinx, turned reluctant ally in the second game. They'll ride around in their Tom tom-Bike and will the jump out and start attacking fighters
Flint
a character from Brute Force. A cyborg sniper. She will stand and shoot at her opponent. She locks into her target and will fire a bullet that tracks them down
Crawdad Jimmy
A character from Voodoo Vince. He'll act like the Chef Kawasaki assist form smash, bringing out a large pot that he will pull fighters into, cooking theme be then spitting them out.
Baron Von Ghoul
The main villain of Grabbed by the Goulies. He'll run around and smack opponents with his propeller stick. He can be attacked and may drop his weapon, which can then be picked up and used.
Thought about maybe submitting Lena but Tom Tom Gang is probably the best choice here so wont submit a competitor.

Normally Momiji feels like our only option with Smash assists needing to be for good boys & girls. Dont think Xbox would be concerned about that. Used a censored image but not sure she would need to actually be censored. How SoulCalibur handles Ivy could be a good reference to she would be handled in different regions.
Zack (Dead or Alive)
Arguably the whackiest character of the series. Also considered Helena considering the big role she & Zack played in the latest games (4) ending.
Anna (Splinter Cell)
Only played Conviction. Remember Anna playing a decent role in it & she seems to be a major character throughout the series.
Munch (Oddworld)
Never played the series, know there is a Munchs Oddysee game & he is one the few other characters i recognize.

Assist Origin: "I'm a PC" advertising campaign (2008, Microsoft)
Microsoft have had a few advertising campaigns over the years, but only a few of them have actually been character-driven - with one of their most notable in this regard being the I'm a PC campaign in 2008. When summoned, he'll hold up a sign saying "I'm a PC", at which point a crowd of ordinary people with similar signs will march forward, declaring "I'm a PC and I'm not alone!" They'll continue to march forward even if it sends them off a ledge - carrying opponents along with them in the process.
The Rabbids are probably an unusual choice for this time period, given they'd come more into prominence in the mid-2010s - but I think they still make sense being that they were introduced in 2006 and have a decent history of Windows releases by now. When activated, a trio of Rabbids will charge forward, trip over each other, and bring up a cartoonish cloud whilst they presumably beat each other up in anger and confusion. They'll linger in place for a while, moving slowly along the stage, until one Rabbid declares itself victorious after a period of time between 2 seconds and 10 seconds, and all three of them (the remaining two unconscious) vanish.
Assist Name: Bomb Jack
Assist Origin: Bomb Jack (1984, Koei Tecmo)
Bomb Jack was one of Tecmo's big early arcade sellers, though this was back during the time they were known as Tekhan. As such, sequels like Bomb Jack II and Mighty Bomb Jack became fairly ubiquitous throughout the mid-1980s. When summoned, Bomb Jack will pick up a bomb from behind him, before running forward and leaping into the air. If he hits an opponent at any time, the bomb detonates - and he's left covered in soot before disappearing.
Assist Name: Spy
Assist Origin: Team Fortress 2 (2007, Valve)
The Spy is one of the nine default character classes in Team Fortress 2, and also probably one of the most popular. As for his function, when summoned, he'll slip on a print-out mask of the character that summoned him (akin to his disguises in the original game.) Then, he'll remain in place and smoke a cigarette. However, if an opponent passes by him, he'll step behind them and stab them with his butterfly knife, crumpling them and forcing them to collapse with pretty big damage before vanishing.

Character Name: Nanashi
Character Origin: Phantom Dust (2004)
The protagonist of Phantom Dust, which we've already got represented here in one way, so might be pretty cool in another. As an Esper, Nanashi is capable of effectively casting a massive variety of magical attacks or actions, though in the original game, they're limited in use (akin to a collectable card game.) Their pool of attacks (or Arsenal) is also decided prior to attack. With that in mind, I'd give Nanashi a stance-change playstyle where he can basically switch between a "black mage" and "white mage" playstyle - the former is focused on highly powerful attacks and ranged tools, but the latter is better suited to melee attacks as well as buffs and debuffs. However, after using attacks, you'll need to give them a moment of cooldown before using them again.

Character Origin: BioShock (2007, Xbox & Windows - 2K)
Powerful genetically-engineered individuals wearing steampunk diving suits? Where can you go wrong! The Big Daddies are iconic enemies from the BioShock series, which - contrary to what PSASBR might have you believe - actually started out on the Xbox platform. (And Windows, I guess.) Even so, their playstyle is probably similar - big-bodied heavyweights, armed with their drills, rivet guns, and even the Little Sisters they're accompanied by.

Guess it fits with the kind of conflicting naming the console also has. Also represents the expansion of opponents from 4 to 8 like Smash.
