I already have one of each, but if I had no pets then I'd rather have a cat. This is because (1) cats are more quiet, (2) cats are more graceful and therefore much less likely to break stuff, and (3) cats are more refined and they clean themselves. And I couldn't care less if my cat didn't come happily scampering up to me whenever I came home--which he doesn't exactly do now. I think that if someone likes dogs more than cats for that very reason, then that person must have a pathetic self-esteem issue.

Now that that half-rant is over with, would you rather:

Lose at your favorite multi-player game to a two-year-old in front of 200 people (some of them you know)?

Kiss your sister/brother on the lips?
