Would you pay $100 to Sakurai to request your character into SSB4?

I'd pay a £100 to both Sakurai and Square Enix if it ensured slime got in the game...

$100 isn't that much to me, so there are quite a few characters I'd be happy to drop it for, but most of them I feel are already fairly likely, so I'd opt to let Sakurai make his game as he wants... just with Slime in of course.

Well K. Rool appeared in Super Sluggers, which was not a part of Rare. So I think Nintendo owns him.

For all you know in that build of the game DK could be more broken than Meta Knight. You're just assuming DK plays exactly the same as before when he could be completely different.

Well based on the trailers and screenshots the only noticeable change to DK is that grounded DK Helicopter hits at an angle now, and despite that, my post about the Wii U allowing them to release balance patches pretty much renders your argument moot.

What do balance patches have to do with their argument at all? Also where did they say anything about wanting to nerf DK? (I'm not disbelieving just curious).

Anyways $100 is an incredibly small price to pay for a playable character but it also an amount of money I straight up don't have to spend so no.

I'd pay $100 for Ridley, Simon Belmont or Terra (FF6).

Then I'd go making bets with as many people as I could that they'd be in the game and recoup my costs. My worry is that with that last choice, people would be suspicious that I know something they don't if I'm willing to bet money on Terra. Maybe even Simon Belmont. But I'd definitely be able to make some money with Ridley.
