Would a demo stop making you play Melee?

It would need the Subspace Emissary. Not necessarily the whole thing, just a bit of it so I know what to expect.

Yeah, I'd stop playing melee, even if its two min matches, we'd still end up spamming youtube with videos of our sweet combos etc.
I'd only stop if they had a few new characters (preferebly Ike), and atleast 4 stages.

Also, why wouldn't they add multiplayer!? That would be pointless, if they added CPU support, they'd have no choice but to add multiplayer...

I would definately go for that. Mainly so that I wouldn't have to keep turning off and turning my system back on to reach the WiiMenu

There is no way that they would make a demo good enough to stop playing melee. I probably would end up playing a lot of brawl just to test the gameplay and mess around with the characters. It would probably end up being the same demo we've been seeing.

Yes definately, sorry melee
With a demo brawl could be delayed to summer 2008 and i would be fine

Due to melee I played 64 for the first time in 7 years at a hotel with a N64 installed

I would stop playing melee if a demo was released but I would not want the demo to come out if the game would be delayed any longer

Seeing as I had to sell my Melee disc, I would play the demo nonstop until they released the game.

demo brawl > full melee.
Be like Halo 3 beta. If you have halo 3 beta, you playing that until halo 3. No halo 2 4U.

Put in w/Super Mario Galaxy like halo 3 in Crackdown. IT WOULD WORK...

there are still melee tournaments planned for a few months. no one would stop playing melee for awhile. I expect even when brawl comes out, people will still play melee from time to time.

If by some gracious stroke of luck from the heavens above I got a demo of brawl, I would no longer play Melee ever again...and I probably wouldnt leave my living room much either >_>

Not exactly, I would still play Melee frequently, but it also depends about the quantity of characters, stages and options.
