also, people should just pay attention what happens around them instead of just reading a statistic and coming up with a horrible conclusion from it. For instance, it's absurd to really believe that I am being paid more than the female actuarial analyst at my firm. There's absolutely no way or incentive for a company to do that as it's a huge liability for them.

The financial market is so that everyone is viewed evenly, women are still viewed as boxes by the majority of men/lesbians in the work place and out of it.

I agree with JJ that women should not be upset about opportunities at the work place/school in terms of admittance and all of that, but advancement in the work place is also a different story, and looks/male gaze defiantly impacts that too.

The best part is that they complain about the brainwashed zombies who only watch fox news but they are being brainwashed by a similar military industrial complex or whatever conspiracy you believe in, Big Foot working with the sludge monsters.

I think the job/pay structure has become more case by case but men do dominate the highest corporate positions and congress. To quote Scott Adams (creator of 'Dilbert'), "The problem with equal rights is people are finding women are as stupid as men." (the wording might be off a little)
As far as religious and birth control topics, women have gotten a raw deal and it's much worse in many other parts of the world too. Also 9 out of 10 **** victims are women.
The feminist movement, like any political movement is highly subject to corruption; everyone wants the better end of equality. I never liked that women can slap men but Peach has a frame 2 slap and can often use it from landing so what are you gonna do? The ad media still has a very stereotypical 20-30lbs-underweight babe in a new convertible driven by a man with his arm around her. Marlyn Monroe would be considered overweight by our crazy 'standards' nowadays and she was cute. As hot as Ivy or Tifa (Soul Calibur/FFVII) etc are, they're not realistic models for what our culture should encourage women to be to feel attractive and confident.
Discrimination is very real but less generalized and Feminism, like most 'isms', has largely lost touch even with some things are valid.
What bugs me about women is rather than do something they'll just sit and b**** about stuff. I mean it can go on and on with no real progress; they just reiterate prior points and hit the conversation ball back and forth, ironically like men's tennis matches which take longer. You'd think people would get tired but somebody brings it back to the surface again and it's not like they have new information either. The topic keeps going and going despite small breaks, it builds momentum, well not really, it's more like a perpetual motion machine and ends up just blurring together like a looong run on sentence and you're wondering what's the point? It's truly amazing how far so little content can be dragged out. Really it is. Everyone keeps their own little segment chugging away like the little engine who couldn't let it go. Same basic stuff. Women, pffft. I'm glad men don't do that.

@ Rizen-Word. However I have met a girl who looks like Tifa, tall, giant out of proportion boobs, giant ***, dark long hair but she just didn't have the face of Tifa. Also I lol'd at the transition to peach slapping.
@KRD-It really depends on what you want and even if you know what you want. If you know what you want, you can probably find a girl who knows how to treat you, though sometimes people will pretend to be people they aren't to be with someone and it isn't really your fault if you fall into one of those traps.
