Hmm... I kinduh feel stupid asking this... but is this true... or am I just gullible?

It makes sense. Microsoft is expected to have their next console out in either 2011 or 2012, and with the Wii we've got right now being a bit lacking in features that should be standard for devices today, I believe it.

Most consoles have a lifespan of 5 or 6 years. 2011 sounds plausible.

That would be a really stupid move by Nintendo. Unless they make some amazing new thing people would buy motion control is likely here to stay.

I hope we get a chance to play games without motion control. Meaning that we get both a motion control version and GC/next gen remote version. All on one disc, like brawl.

Let's hope that if this console is true that it actualy makes the graphics great. Seriously, motion controls are fine but I'd rather the actual games be responsible for the gameplay not the hardware.

It said by 2011... so that could be anywhere from 1-2 years [and 2 months]... not really that long when you really think about it...

well, not really think about it, 2008 is almost over so we'll just need to wait approximetly 2.5 years more for it to come out, not really a long time.

but yes, we definetly need a Wii II, as Cashed mentioned, the Wii is lacking features that it should already have for this era of technology.

We are not discussing a console that is 3 years away from an imaginary date pulled out of nowhere. Until Nintendo says "Wii 2 is coming out in 2011," this does not need to be discussed.
