Something I'd also like to state is that Sakurai also agrees that Zelda is more important than Sheik. If he thought Sheik was more important or equally important to Zelda, then he would have made it so that they were different characters, rather than making one the attack of another. Also Sakurai would not have made it so that choosing Sheik to start the battle was a secret, but rather some sort of info on the corner of the screen saying "Do this to start off as Sheik".

It's different, I said I was biased because I dislike Sheik and that's why I don't want her in, I have never delivered a biased argument during this whole discussion.

That's exactly a reason for them to be added, if you truly think popularity isn't a HUGE factor on who get's in, than you're hopeless. There's a reason the people near the top of the poll are getting in.

Well you're still wrong. Since she was in Melee, there is no reason whatsoever to assume she is out. You should assume everyone from Melee is in, then try and see what points to them being out. The clones have that working against them. Shiek, the only the working against her is the continuity thing, and neither side has any reason to believe they are right, we don't know if Sakurai cares about continuity or not.
Therefore, there is no logical reason to assume anything other than Shiek is returning.

but the fact of the matter is that your coming from a biased stand point even though your argument are in a logical sense. so like i said if you don't like her don't use her what is the big deal there are people that don't like sheik and people that do. just like every other character people have like and dislikes just because you don't does not mean she should not be in. there are people that like to play as sheik let them. all you have to do is just not play as sheik no one is forcing you to play as sheik. look at it this way just because some does not like Chinese food that person isn not going to try to make it illegal or get to where it now where in town. no that person just wont eat that type of food, or even a better example just because some hates a Honda accord doesn't mean they have to buy it or drive it no they might have a friend that will drop off some where with the car and there that person is where they wanted to go and didn't have to put up with that certain car in a sense.
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong one. And if a pom-pom squad makes it into this game I will be endlessly unhappy. Other than that this poll makes no sense to me.

This really is such a pointless argument though. There is so little evidence to go by. The main thing, continuity, we've argued to death and no longer matters much. Everything else is either pure speculation or gets shrugged off. So, I'm going to ask this thread get closed. It was a stupid thread from the first post.

im just gonna go along with sid to say this is getting pointless and ill just end my argument in saying that both you and me had valid points their nothing wrong with proving your point nor am i wrong proving mine but this is getting really pointless i rather just wait until brawl come out to discuss about characters.....
