slowbro would be ****ing boss if he had unaware

why is tauros NU?
like seriosly, base 110 speed and base 100 atk, along with 95 defense AND intimidate making it bulky on the physical side

it also learns a good amount of moves on the physical side like return, earthquake, stone edge, zen headbutt, headbutt (it can actually use it because it's fast), iron head, outrage (wtf?), and pursuit (i would put payback but it's too fast to make it effective)

hell, he could run a choice band/scarf set with this:

Outrage
Return
Earthquake
Stone Edge

and hit a **** ton for SE damage

I've wondered about Rampardos, I understand it can be countered easily, but personally I've been able to put it to very good use in OU without a terrible amount of problems.

Kangaskhan is bulkier, and has Scrappy to nail Ghost-types.

Ambipom runs around with STAB Technician Fake Out at a higher Speed stat.

Clefable has Magic Guard, and is bulkier and even has reliable recovery.

It's really fun outspeeding and OHKOing Gengar with zen headbutt from tauros. Kanghaskhan might outclass it a bit, but Tauros can still work really well.

but 20 points more in speed and intimidate are

also, it speed ties with gengar

i feel tauros actually does better in OU than kangaskhan does, most because it has base 100 outspeeding infernape, salamence, and others

also, real men use anger point salac berry tauros

Tauros' speed is its advantage.

The reason it's NU along with all the other decent physical attacking normal types is because it doesn't have a good stab type.

well, if you have a sub out after you get anger point
you're still (most likely) going to OHKO them, it's attack is that friggen high

if only he learned extreme speed

How does Tauros go about getting a Sub up on NOT BLISSEY in OU?

it's not really that hard, you go in on a wall, sub up, then just hit the opponent hard, if he breaks your sub, either sub up or switch?

it's not really that hard to do, he's actually bulky enough to take a hit and still have enough HP to get a sub up
it's possibly the most rewarding set since it's so hard to pull off but when you do, you're taking down everything in site

he doesn't...

it's pretty much the bane of everything that isn't OU
like it seriously ****s all over UU and NU pokes

YES ALL OF THEM

unless he has Anger Point set up and hits the rotom with stone edge

Tauros isn't good without Anger point.

So Tauros isn't good in 94% of matches.

I assume you're calcing -1 for Mence switching into Tauros as an attempt to take it down?

Otherwise your point is void cause Mence will kill you on the switch or you'll switch into a +1DD Mence.

it can burn drapion and spiritomb, making them way easier to deal with

i'll give you houndoom though

and yes, it 2HKO's with stone edge, gaurenteed as long as salamence attacks, with -1, and return is a 2HKO if SR is in play
it's also a 2HKO with return taking into account for both SR and life orb damage

so yea, it can 2HKO mence

but unfortunately, outrage does 92.8%-109.2%, a guaranteed 1HKO with SR in play
so basically, they can't switch into each other

Stamping your library books.
Armaldo isn't very good because offensively it's almost entirely outclassed by rhyperior and defensively it doesn't have very many resistances. In fact, it only resists poison and normal. It can make a handy spinner/sub breaker though
Armaldo's stats aren't what make him good, it's his support movepool. Knock Off + Rapid Spin is a pretty rare combo (if I'm correct, only Tentacruel also gets it, and I'm not sure if that's even legal because of breeding issues. And even then, Armaldo is the only Physical 'wall' that has access to it.)

He makes a pretty good lead. He lives through pretty much everything (including Stone Edges), removes items, and KOs more frajile leads.

Armaldo for life.

I remember in early, early, early, early, early, early, early, early, early, early, early D/P when Armaldo was good.

also, stone edge to return is a 2HKO guaranteed with SR in play on both DDmence and Classic mixmence

it's actually a 2HKO on all sets but the bulky ones, where it just misses with SR damage

Just out of curiosity, I'm aware there must be some reasoning, but why UU for Slowbro and NU for Slowking? lolpwnt
