WHY DOES MK's up B go really low sometimes in the air

Hmmm, did you fast fall while you were in the middle of the loop in your Up B? I've had this happen some times when I am on the ledge Up-bing into it and sometimes I may shuttle loop really low suddenly, miss the edge, and die... I tried this and recreated it every time I fastfalled my Up B so could this be the culprit?

I tested for roughly an hour, it could just be me but I think I finally got something (last thing I bothered to test)

Using Up Air, then mashing up-B afterwards seems to make you go lower. I could just be seeing things...

EDIT____
1 more thing that seems to make you go lower:

Using up-B while falling (and since I'm using TJ Off, I use Uair and fall a tiny bit before the up-B)

I feel downwards momentum counteracts the upwards momentum up-B gives you.

I did a quick control for the downards momentum, marking a certain point of the stage with a small thing of duct tape.

When I got below that point, I would Jump then up-B, I would LIVE AND GRAB THE EDGE.

When I jumped off of the low platform of battlefield, and up-B'd as I hit that point, I WAS TO LOW AND DIED
Did you fastfall or just regular fall?

That may have some effect but I think it also has to do with you being able to fast fall your whole shuttle loop while you are doing this or else I wouldn't have been able to miss a sweetspot on the edge when doing a shuttle loop into it. Combined with this possible glideshifting occurring, I think this is why it sometimes goes extremely low.

Possibly momentum effects like in the falling pirate ship.

I think it has something to do with how you hit the control stick

I believe if you smash up b you go higher and if you tilt or hold up then push b it makes the up b lower

Considering you play with tap jump M2K you jump comes out before your SL thus it seems higher
Without out tap jump or by tilting you dont jump frist then SL.

The jump isn't really noticeable tho but it makes you go higher I know that much.

I believe thats what your relating to M2K.

Yeah, if you jump and then SL right after it gives it a boost.

SL at the same height, once by DJing and then using Upb, the other with all of your jumps exausted and falling. You'll notice that even though you SL at the same height, MK doesn't go as high when he is falling and SL's than when he is rising from a jump and SL's.

LOL, he plays with no tag (hope it's how you call this in english, you know, the gamer tag above the character), then it's obvious that he plays with tap jump on -_-.

Leaving Tap Jump on is what the cool people do.

Turning Y to Special is what the slightly even cooler people do.

And yeah, reading the first few posts, I guessed it had something to do with jumping due to the control stick..
