Why do you main Ganondorf?

The guy is freakin immortal! In all the Zelda games, he's not really dead, he's just waiting to make his comeback. He makes his enemies curl up in the fetal position sucking their thumbs. Heck, he still scares the crap out of me. When I play Ganon, I just walk over to the person, look him up and down, and side+tilt his *** off the stage. If you wanna devestate someone to the ridicule point, Ganon's your man.

I don't play Ganondorf, but if I did it would be because he's THE FRIGGIN LORD OF EVIL. No, seriously, he really is. He's not one of those villains who says he is and still always loses.

I always love picking characters that people think of as an easy win. That's why Yoshi is my secondary, I'm starting to pick up Ganon, and I sometimes use Bowser.

I don't main Ganon but when the online is lagging his strong attacks can kill a lot and i love using the time clock that slows everyone else so it makes me seem so fast and strong XD

Exactly. Couldn't say it better myself. I've been using Ganondorf since Melee for that very reason.

And when G-dog hits... man he HITS. The best part of Ganondorf is that you don't KO your opponent...

Definitely the style of play, I don't really consider certain characters hard to play overall. My view is that each person has characters that just match their style better then others. One should find that special character and stick with them no matter what others judge their power to be. Just look at mango and gimpy in melee they both choose to play characters normally thought before they played them to be weak. This just goes to show you that every character has their strengths and weaknesses and, that you should play with the character that suits your style best. I really don't think it takes more skill with him or that he is weak, I think though that his style is definitely a more of a specialist style making him less suited for most people tastes.

I concur strongly with this.I strictly main Mario (no side dishes included) for that very reason.The only other person I ran into yet that has the same beliefs as I do is a insane Samus player named Muz.I dunno,I just feel that if you have 30+ characters as your 2nds 3rds,I think its only learning bits and pieces of what those characters can truly do.Remember that speech where Gimpyfish mained Bowser so long that instead of forcing the issue that "Bowser's the greatest top tier *****z!"he began to think about his weaknesses building his game around them,making him into that crazy ******* you saw in Melee.Thats the way how Iam feeling about Mario currently.

I main Kirby because I love him as a character. He is a cute metamorph warpstar warrior. XD I admire you Ganondorf mainners. Many of you don't care he is said to be low tier and still do your best to win with him. That's the spirit! I will watch your progress, and someday (when I get a Wii ) I will challenge you!

I don't main/alt ganon, but I wanted to leave my opinion about him. He's a really awesome character. His moveset is really laggy, meaning no room for error. Unlike MK or something that allows you to spam whatever and not be punished if you whiff. You really have to read your opponent with Ganon. He's all about studying your opponent and capitalizing on each and every situation. I really like that type of mindset and overall gameplay. I play him in casuals, but I like Lucario and ROB too much to actually make him a secondary/main.

Still a badass character though, and props to people who stick with him.

Just the feeling you get every time you Dair, Fair, or Bair someone is enough to make me actually go 'yes' out loud ><

Also he uses lots of strategy in the Murder choke, so many possibilities.

And I actually meant using dair to spike people. Really gives you a good feeling about yourself. Also, if you kill using dair on the ground, sending them up. Just too awesome
