Why do people think Ashley is gonna get in?

Honestly I don't even think she'll be playable, really. I just want to see her represented in some form, like an Assist Trophy or some such. The 5 characters in my sig., sure, I'd be excited if they were playable, but realistically I don't expect more than an Assist for some of them. Still, ANY recognition of those characters would make me happy, since I know their chances aren't high. Not *everyone* who supports Ashley thinks she is a 'shoe-in' in any sense.

I think Ashley is a fine character but she isn't really that important to the Warioware series to get in. If anyone would get it, it'd definitely be Mona or Jimmy T., I can assure you of that.

My understanding is that people don't think she'll be in, they just like to discuss what it would be like if Ashley were in. Kind of like how people kept discussing what it would be like if Gardevoir could be in Smash despite it already being confirmed as a Pokeball, or Tom Nook.

Wario is lucky enough to be represented with his own logo and franchise but adding a second rep from his games is absoulutly unessary. and, no her music does not count as a hint of her apperance

They're practically leaded by a troll. Megatron flames someone just for leaving the club. They even compared her to GENO. Anyways, be aware of the Ashley supporters who will blindly accuse you of flaming.

*Sigh* i'm getting tired of all this flaming ashley SUPPORTERS are getting, as well as the character herself.
I compared ashley to geno because someone said that they wouldn't add ashley in because she's popular but they would add geno in because he's more popular. I said it was a double standard but you probably disagree so i don't even care anymore.

Geno > Ashley when it comes to popularity most definitely. Same with importance although I'd say that Geno's importance to the Mario series isn't very big other than in the storyline in Super Mario RPG, although looking at the scope of his cult fanbase all across the world he's a pretty deserving character to at least be considered for Brawl (and yes, I hope he's in).
But hey, you can compare Ashley to a Paratroopa if it makes you feel better!

Ashley won't get in, the ashley song confirms her as much as the DK rap confirmed Diddy or Dixie in Melee. People are stupid that's why they root for her

Anyway, Ashley's theme was just put up for the Warioware stage. I don't see why a minor, unimportant character from such a small series would get in over main characters from a small series...
