like your avatar. in any case, the stale moves system waas overhauled for brawl and is better IMO. How exactly is melee more balanced? (tho don't want this to spark a whole debate) marths dominance rating as u probably know is 55% as compared to meta's 35%

Yup! I've learned that no matter how benign, Melee vs. Brawl threads always end in flames
What data are you questioning? The dominance rating or the stale moves comment? Check stales moves on smash wiki:

"In Super Smash Bros., stale-move negation affected both damage and knockback. Here, damage and knockback decrease to 75% of their original power and remain constant from that point on (given the attack power is 4% or higher). In Super Smash Bros. Melee, special attacks suffered both reduced damage and knockback, while all other moves only suffered reduced damage. In Super Smash Bros. The strength of stale-move negation has increased throughout the series, making the effect much more punishing in Brawl compared to the previous two games. "

as for the dominance ranking, that is straight from ankoku's character rankings chart, so I didn't pull those out of my arse per se.

I like both games, sure, Melee for it's speed and competitiveness, Brawl for it's characters (Diddy Kong is my hot love) and moosics, and features (stages too)

I mean, well..I dunno, but I think the thread should just stop right now, as it's turning into a flame war, and believe it or not, I saw it started by your avatar to an extent.

There's nothing extreme about breaking the Brawl disc, and I have the utmost respect to Cinder for doing it. That's probably because I hate Brawl and love Melee, but still, you've got to give him credit for making such a bold move.

Also, his avatar has, in NO WAY, caused the flame war occurring at the moment. His avatar was briefly discussed, but all that was really discussed was a prediction of what his response would be like due to the fact that his avatar was of his broken Brawl disc. The flame war really started when Johnny Pteran put all the blame on the Melee-ers.
