I already own a normal 3DS so i really dont want to buy the XL even though the bigger screen would be awesome.

Upgrading to the XL. When Smash gets to the Wii U, it won't hurt as much to forgo the New XL.

I have an original 3DS but I'll probably buy the Super Smash Bros. edition XL then upgrade yet again with the n3DS XL comes out.

Probably the 3DS XL for me. I've been using it for a while, and it feels much more comfortable for a big-handed guy like me compared to the normal 3DS.

I got an XL after the shoulder buttons on my original 3ds stopped responding. The bigger screens are a bigger improvement than I thought they would be and should be helpful for Smash. Although, now I'll have to upgrade once again once the New 3ds XL comes out.

It depends on how pivotal the new Nintendo 3DS is. If it's needed for a lot of newer games, then I'll probably get that. Until then, I'll stick with my teal 3DS with the Ambassador Program

Original 3DS until the New 3DS comes out here in Europe. After that, I'm selling my 3DS to get money for the New.

I may get the New XL when it comes to the US... so that's another possible main.

I'm thinking of picking up an XL after hearing what Zipzo had to say.

Also, if anyone owns the ALBW 3DS, does it looks as good as it does in the pictures? And is the gold interior distracting when playing games? I'm considering putting down a little more for one and I want to know if its worth it.

I have my XL that I bought last year.

I'm getting a bigger SD card for Smash and everything else too.

I'm totally digging the 2ds' control setup once I got the hang of it. I'm realizing what somebody said when it feels more sturdy to play on a 2ds than a 3ds. Can anyone confirm this?

Also it's a western exclusive so I can be a hipster if I visit Japan :)

While I enjoy the clam shell design of the 3DS and 3DS XL (and in the XL's case, bigger screens), I find them uncomfortable to hold for hours on end. So when I bought a 2DS, I was immensely pleased! Its extremely comfortable. Now of course I am thinking about getting a New 3DS if it comes out in NA, if only because its going to have exclusives that I might be interested in (like Xenoblade). Other then that, I'll be sticking to my 2DS.
