I know how Elo wrks though chess. THe problem is if 1 person wins 2-3 games withot losing anthen stops playing.Oh, well that simplifies things.
Luneth, let's say there are 3 people.
Guy 1 keeps beating Guy 3.
Guy 2 doesn't play against anyone.
Rankings would be
#1 Guy 1
#2 Guy 2
#3 Guy 3
So avoiding matches is a way to not have a bad ranking, but it won't get you a good ranking. I doubt anyone will avoid ranked matches anyway, and tournament results still count anyway.
The panelists can always use their judgment as well.
they magically go down.I'm all for elo ranking. People can't reject too many ranked matches, otherwise they will go down the PR list.
