Mewtwo is. No doubt. Do you know why. Ok.
Let's begin with the first pokemon movie. Mewtwo makes his own pokemon, mewtwo is the strongest psychic type or was suppose to be. He can also take the minds of entire cities, like he did in the movie. He killed Ash. Ash, the main character. The only reason why he came back is because he let the pokemon cry and he felt bad for the idiot. If anything Mewtwo could of destroyed the pokemon himself. Also, the fact that he is intelligent and can speak the human language. Besides mewtwo, he can **** with people's heads. He was also powered up with that power suit giovanni gave to him. So think about it, he has his own castle, he stole the minds of the town near him, he MADE his own SUPED up pokemon what makes you think that he won't make a clone of a stronger pokemon and have them kill each other. Mewtwo could really take out the pokemon himself, but he knows that its a waste of time for him. That's why he goes after mew because he wanted to know who was stronger. We also knew that Mew barely stood a chance against mewtwo, and mewtwo would of won if it wasn't for stupid ash.

No, actually Mew is the strongest poke'mon ever. People just underestimate Mew because of its kindness. Also, Mew and Mewtwo took all of the clone poke'mon and left to never be seen again. So you can not say that Mewtwo is so evil or whatever. Although, Mewtwo still owns all and is just all powerful. Also mewtwo doesn't speak the "human language" he was just speaking telepathically in english not the "human language".

I really dont like Nintendo's portrayal of Mew. In Mewtwo Strikes Back, Mew was a freaking psycho. There can be no debate on "who would have won" since it's all speculation not based on facts. (as factual as a cartoon can be, anyway) We only know that the two of them were beastly beyond all measure.

Then in the pokemon movie with Lucario, Mew was a complete wuss. He could do absolutely nothing when those weird red viruses attacked him. His life force was connected to a bloody tree! Lucario had to do everything, and Lucario sucked in that movie! Argh!

So Nintendo is inconsistant, and all speculation is simply that. Speculation.

Edit: But er... Dunsparce would pwn both Mew and Mewtwo.

Screw speculation. M2 is the one with 106/110/90/154/90/130 (hp/atk/def/satk/sdef/spd). Mew is the one with base 100 across the board. They clearly wanted m2 to be the better of the two.

IMO, Nintendo likes Mew a lot better than Mewtwo. It plays a main role in 2 full movies and Mewtwo only gets one and a half I count that Giovanni sequel thing as a half. I do wish Mew was in Smash over Mew2 though. I guess not humanoid enough? =/ Mr.I-learn-every-TM-and-HM-to-ever-exist needs better stat allocation, especially with Scheme now.

Yes, because whenever I use Mewtwo and I see a Heracross, I am going to do nothing while it Swords Dances 3 times and OHKOs me with Megahorn.

Enlighten me as to who would switch a Mewtwo into a Megahorn? Mewtwo's Psychic is a OHKO on Heracross without Calm Mind. Mew Psychic is a OHKO with a Calm Mind.

Not to mention that nothing you listed affects the base power of a move. STAB and the 2x weak are applied to the damage formula after everything else, while Choice Band and the Swords Dances increase the attack stat, not the base power of the move. Not that the technicality actually matters, the result is still a OHKO.

Oh yeah, and I'd like to know how you plan on SDing when you have a CB....

As for the M2/Mew without psychic, heracross would still provide a free switch to something like ho-oh, which gets to **** with its huge attack stat and a cb.

It's not a matter of what attacks will kill it. It's a matter of what pokemon can launch those attacks. For the other types you listed... dark isn't gonna happen (lol cm), and nothing gets shadow ball that wouldn't rather use something else. Stuff like metagross would scare a non-boosted m2 off regardless of having shadow ball. Its huge attack and mm/boom is enough.
