He doesn't play seriously anymore from what I hear, but I don't think he's been gone long enough to be surpassed by any other Falco.

Of course, but if one doesn't play anymore, then one cannot possibly be the best. Let's make a list of good Falco players who currently play. I'm not very certain about any. MANGO, Zhu, Eggm? Chops? Falcomist? Uh...

PC Chris has the best tournament record. That's the only solid evidence you can go on. I think it's the general consensus PC isn't the best Falco today, so everything is speculation.

True words. We can thank Forward for pretty much everything. He is a legit influence on Falco and a lot of the metagame.

He's definitely done it before (switching to Fox instead of going Falco vs Falco against DSW). PC knows how well Shiz does in Falco dittos and that alone says something about how well Shiz understands Falco. You ask what my point was? I was simply supporting the fact that Shiz is the best Falco. PC has said it himself. You can't base everything on the fact that PC has been around longer and won more tournaments than Shiz. Look at the opponents he has faced. Look at the mindgames he has incorporated into his game in the past year or so. Shiz is incredible. PC is a better Fox and imo slightly better overall at Melee. But really, when it comes to Falco, don't **** with DaShizWiz.

I never said he didn't. All I'm saying is that this is completely irrelevant. Liking to play as another character rather than dittoing doesn't mean that you're less skilled with your main.

you're supporting it poorly though. having a preference against a certain matchup doesn't make you worse with Falco.

I'm not basing anything on anything because I'm literally saying nothing about who's the best Falco. All I'm saying is that it's stupid to talk about who's the best Falco. But I would argue that winning more and higher profile tournaments with Falco is very relevant when talking about who's the best Falco. Being around longer isn't directly relevant, sure.

Look at the opponents he has faced. Look at the mindgames he has incorporated into his game in the past year or so.
