You are probably young and young kids have a lot of the vitamins, which I believe is iron, that enables you to maintain warmer temperatures.

I have a pretty high tolerance for cold, but I don't enjoy it.

Young kids are actually worse at keeping warm, but they are better at staying cool, and I don't think it has to do with vitamins, minerals or iron.

I have to walk a mile home after school every day. People think I'm insane when it's 0 degrees and I have a t-shirt on. I enjoy it, though.

Too bad that I can't STAND heat because of my tolerance of cold..,

My head seems to have an amazing tolerance for cold, but strangely the rest of my body doesn't share that feature. Though still overall I seem to have a far higher tolerance than most people in Florida (admittedly I've never spent a winter elsewhere).

I will never tell. :D
I know what you mean Tryptomine I used to live there. ;)

I've got the tolerence for cold all around my body. My dad and bro always tell me to wear a jacket. Its strange though because I will get a headache if I go back into the heat so I just wear a jacket anyway to prevent this.

I always get cold, thus I have an excuse to always wear a suspicious-looking hooded jacket. =P No seriously, I'm almost always wearing one even when it's like 80 outside. You see on the other hand, I never get hot.

I used to never get cold, but last year my heater was broken for the majority of winter. Sometimes there would be icicles on the inside of my window and not the outside. Those below-freezing mornings tamed me like a wild stallion, and now I require at least 60 degrees. Depressing, really.

I like it and hate it when my school is cold. Because if you are in a warm environment you tend to become sleepier and lazier. A cold environment keeps you awake and fresh. Granted my school is always cold so it sucks to actually do work.

Man, I used to be the king of never getting cold. I remember walking home from school during a blizzard, wearing only a light t-shirt, and enjoying the exhilarating freezing winds. And by the way, I live where it actually does get cold (as in -25 Celsius), not Florida (ha!).

I was a little embarrassed when a nice lady in a car stopped to offer me a coat. I had my own coat in my backpack.

My house is kept at about 62 degrees Fahrenheit to save money on heating. I'm comfortable at that temperature. In fact, I'm comfortable in any clothing from about 56 degrees Fahrenheit to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It's a gift, and it makes everything much more convenient.

No, not as much as others in this topic anyways.

I love the cold, though. The teachers at my high school (specifically last year.) got onto me for sitting outside during lunch when it was in the teens/20s, and they really got onto me when I was outside during last January's ice storm.

They ruined it for me! But then we got out early and I went outside and enjoyed it when I got home.

I happen to have an uncanny power...like the X-men. I can produce body heat at UNCANNY levels! When I go outside in the winter and people ask If I'm cold, I respond that I am never cold. I think they are on to my X-men identity of "Never-cold".

Hmm..."Never-cold" that could be a cool username!

I am always miserable. Haha.

I get cold really easily and never get too hot. Growing up in Texas has assured that ; ). But then I moved up here to MI so it gets super cold and I'm STILL not used to it. It's been 4 years. Haha.

Im tolerant of it, I won't complain..

But I am allergic to it. Sudden temperature changes will cause my skin to break out, and get itchy, swollen, and sore.

But, if it is gradual and I am not bored, I won't even notice the cold.

I just returned from Buffalo, NY. Had a great time, except for the fact that my grandparents constantly pressured me to wear this huge fur-skin winter coat. Humiliating to wear, and unnecessary, as I never get cold. I can wear a long sleeve shirt, jeans, and some sneakers and be almost perfectly fine. Then again, I'm almost always hot and sweating...

Same goes for spicy food; I'm pretty much unaffected by hot foods or sauces ;)

Wow, that's sort of cool. I've never heard of anyone being allergic to quick temperature changes.

I just returned from Buffalo, NY.
Represent!

(I live in Buffalo.)

Yes, it gets super-duper cold here. And yes, it is the snowiest city in the United States, due to lake effect snow off of Lake Erie. We are used to it, I guess.

Sometimes I can tolerate it, sometimes I can't. Whenever I get sick it takes me a month or more to get readjusted to the cold but normally I can stand pretty well which is old because I don't get winter here. I can't remember what measurement we use but it's always around 28 degrees.

I still kinda hate the cold though, whenever my hands are cold I can't play my guitar or smash well.

I have a tolerance of cold, but not a spectacular immunity to it. I wear several layers of clothing, but often I'll get hot even when it is below 0. Where I live, the temperature can fluctuate wildly. My problem is that I don't move a lot. If there's no wind, I'm fine. If there is, well, I'm cold.

I enjoy wearing leather coats. It usually doesn't effect my coldness though (unless it's really windy).

I don't mind to cold at all. I wear shorts year round. It was 8 degrees on Monday and the wind chill was -2.
