Ike and Marth. Both have blue hair. Both use swords. Marth with tiara=Ike with bandana. Ike and Marth-long lost brothers. It just took three games to introduse both of the great characters that the entire game is secretly about.

Obviously they're talking about Wolf. You see, Wolf represents the twin brothers Romulus and Remus, who were abandoned by their uncle, raised by a wolf, then adopted by a family, grew up, returned and killed their uncle, then founded the city of Rome, after which they didn't see eye-to-eye and fought, with Romulus ultimately killing Remus and claiming Rome as his own.

And that's how Wolf represents the whole series. (Even though he wasn't in the first two.)

They are all brothers. Yes. Mario is related to a turtle. And yes, Peach and all of the other supposedly female characters are actually boys. Yes. Even ZSS.

Well in all seriousness, it is used like KernelColonel said.

I think it refers to Sakurai and Iwata, since they are the ones behind the SSB and they´re like brothers.

G&W and Ganondorf, they are the closest ones to being 'brothas'.

As was stated before, it's less familial 'brothers' and more like "Brothers in Arms".

They're not brothers, but it is like a 'brotherhood'.

A Brotherhood of Smash if you will.

The correct answer:

Two twins who were sitting side by side in the backseat of a car, hands out the windows. The car went through a road construction zone, with concrete barriers on either side. The kids weren't paying attention and their arms hit the concrete barrier, and they lost there arms. The child sitting on the right (and lost his right arm) became traumatized and became ******** and obtained uncontrollable violent tendencies.

Hideously misfigured, and made fun of at school- they were homeschooled and so by definition had no friends. They managed to make crude figurines of their favorite Nintendo characters, and through the wonders of modern medication's side effects, thought they came to life to do battle.

The 'mentally able' child had lots of fun, but always got mad when the 'mentally handicapped' child would come in and in a violent outburst displace all of the crude figures. As a result of their and their arm's (and by extension -pun intended- their hand's) called eachother "Master Hand" and "Crazy Hand" as terms of endearment.

These two children, the owners of Master and Crazy hand are the 'Super Smash Brothers'

Close Thread.

This has already been mentioned several times in various forms over the thread, but I feel like it needs repeating since this thread does need to be reminded of the genuine answer in between all the cutesy joke junk.

Every playable character in the game is a Smash Brother.

The "Brother" part really does mean they are family, because they are all from Nintendo games or are at least closely related to Nintendo. Of course, it is also a pun on Nintendo's most famous franchise, Super Mario Brothers... so it works in multiple ways, really.

I bealive that it is mario and luigi considering they are actually brothers it would seem and they are the main characters of nintendo it could not be named after any other characters really mario and luigi is probably the most legitament awnser.

NO THE MOST LEGITIMATE ANSWER IS THE EASTER BUNNY AND HIS TWIN BROTHER DARREL This makes perfect sense. Their twins, unlike Mario and luigi.

The original Super smash bros only featured male or gender-anonymous (Pikachu, JigglyPuff, Yoshi, Kirby) Nintendo figures, Samus Aran being exception. Thus, "Brothers [and a girl]" in a distantly related, twice-removed terms.

Does no one have commen sense.

It is either based of of the Easter Bunny and his twin brother Darrell or it's Peter Griffin and James Woods
