Which Zelda throw is the best?

Another Zelda question thats been burning in my mind.

I like to use Zelda's grab occasionally since its better this time around. But I can't tell which throw is better; I just happen to D-Throw by instincts. Are the F-Throw, B-Throw, U-Throw any good? Can anyone of the throws gives the best setup for attacks? Which one has the best throw distance? Which one has the best KO potential? So many questions to ask, but I haven't seen this topic discussed thoroughly on the Zelda boards!

I'd be awesome to know the percentage they kill at so I can mix it up when I transform to Zelda for the kill since everyone seems to be VERY shield happy to avoid dying to a D-Smash/F-Smash/U-Smash. So sad I'm not near a Brawl to check this out :(

I would prefer Dthrow at low percentages since it can lead into a dash-Usmash or chaingrab. At high percetages, Bthrow would probably be your best pick. But it all depends on your position too. I mean, If you're facing the edge then I would of course go with the Fthrow.

It's not that important. Uthrow, Bthrow and Fthrow has almost the same properties, and don't forget that all throws are very DI-influenced. But as mentioned earlier - At high percetages, I would go for the Bthrow.

Her D-throw is probably the best for following up attacks...specifically a hyphen smash, or maybe eve a sweetspotted bair...or any of her aerials to be honest...you just have to properly mindgame your opponent into them...i've mindgamed my opponent from a Dthrow into a Uair for a KO once...it was glorious.

You'll prolly only be able to successfuly follow up a Dthrow with a Usmash at lower percentages though...after like...50% you're prolly gonna have to start mindgaming.

Her Uthrow is also good for setting up mindgames or other aerials...but I don't use it as much as her Dthrow.

Her Bthrow is good for KOing specifically at the edge of stages and at high percents...it's really the only throw she has capable of KOing.

I only use her Fthrow to get the opponent off the stage and follow up aerial attacks off the stage.

Bthrow can kill, but it's very dependant on stage position and requires high damages. It does do the most damage I believe.

Dthrow is probably the best in terms of follow ups, but careful against Dedede and I think Snake, and others with bairs like theirs, since they can bair in response if you try to follow up.

Ed: Also it's hard to follow up if they DI away from you. I dunno, I never thought any of Zelda's grabs were all that impressive.

f-throw does the most damage. She has a comparatively strong u-throw, but its KO potential is still cruddy. B-throw has the farthest knockback.

I think forward is 12%, up and back are 11%, and down is 10%.

I use down throw at low damages because you can combo in lots of ways, this has been said already but you can dash into up smash , sweet spot with b air, or chain grab. It gets harder as your opponets damage goes up. I don't really recomend chain grabbing with Zelda because it's easy for your opponet to get out during the air time and attack.

Just follow down thow with an up smash at lower damage levels and use b air when they have higher damage. Oh I don't know if this has been mentioned already but at low damage you can sometimes get two up smashes in one down throw. All the other throws I don't use for combos but they are good to get some room to use din's or teleport for more distance.

No, lightning just magically comes out her feet and starts zapping her opponent.

why does everyone say that?

it's so obvious she's shooting magic out of her PALMS <_<

regardless it's her best throw by far... best options for follow ups.

Down throw at the lowest percents, but at the higher percents try to get your opponents off the stage any direction you can. The Dthrow combos aren't reliable at all, it's better to put your opponent in a disadvantaged position, offstage.

anyone else ever use up-throw i like it b/c if you don't have a better option (oppents dmg to high for d-throw to combo and not close to the stages edge) it gets the other character above you which is always good for zelda so you might be able to make something out of it

I see that the general consensus that the D-Throw CAN put someone in a spot for a follow up, and the F-Throw/B-Throw is used to get them off the stage. The B-Throw looks like it has the best chance to KO. Does anyone know what the KO percentage is for B-Throw. Also, is there any situation where a U-Throw is warranted over the other throws? It doesn't seem too useful since Zelda's air-game isn't terribly maneuverable and the throw doesn't make for the best setup/get them off the stage. Does it have reasonable KO potential?

It only has a reasonable chance of a ko if you try to follow up with up air, I haven't ever tried that but it just came to mind:ohwell:

Following up on an uthrow just takes knowing how your opponent reacts to you. If they're gonna try to dair you coming down, out-prioritize them with an uair. If they're gonna try to air dodge, wait for it then uair. If they're moving all zig-zaggy and don't waste their double jump making themselves hard to follow, fake them out and catch them on the ground with an usmash.
