Where should I be looking?

I know I should be watching my opponent's charecter more than my own. But I have trouble doing it all the time. I'll get on a roll and it just happens, but then all the sudden I'll start watching my own charecter for some reason and it'll all go to hell. The more I play the better I get with this but my question I guess is, should I really focus on this or will it just come with time? Or how should I go about becoming more consistent?

You can slowly pick out things without knowing till you need it. Youshould look at them but uderstand what you're doing and what they're trying to do

Try just looking at the stage. Don't focus too much on either character, instead focus on the distance between them and think about options available based on the spacing.

Omg this topic is so ****. Every time Vyzor and I are playing we end up discussing this.. we never know where we look when we play.. then when we try to look somewhere specific or try to figure out where we look we end up playing ****ty.

If you expect your enemy to do something look at them and react. If you are going on the offensive look at the space inbetween and space.

newer players almost always focus on their own character, once you get more experience with the game you learn to focus on your opponent and their movement. this isn't some pro trait, it's just an indication that you're becoming more comfortable in controlling your character.

it's like when you first play basketball and you have to look at your hands to dribble, but once you play a lot you can look around the court while moving all kinds of sick

good analogy lovage, that helps. I think I am comfortable enough I just have to get used to doing it because I spent my first 7.5 years of playing this game vs lvl 9s. thanks guys
