A faster ftilt doesn't constitute top tier. Unless it has only one frame of lag (shine).

I'll probably try and unlock as many characters as I can, and test them all out before I go online.

I'll play a lot before I go online, then after a day or two I'll play a bit online. I won't seriously play online until I've unlocked all the characters and stages, which could take a long time because I'm thinking we'll be getting arounf 50 or so stages.

I won't play online untill I unlock all the characters or half of them. Find someone besides Link to perfect and use online.

I will probably play through the single player mode first to learn the moveset of a character and unlock some characters. After that, I will be online for years.

I think when I get Brawl, I'll be so overwealmed, all that I'll do for the first few days is play it non-stop, by myself until I get the idea of the game down (new items, characters, and stages, and any other new concepts) and unlock most of the stuff. Then I'll probably try online play.

The first day of online might be interesting just to smash on the noobs who play too. I'll try and find the cockiest, suckiest player and **** them and listen with glee as they John their way through every battle.
Yeah... but most n00bs probably don't even know what a John is, lol:laugh:

Has Brawl already been confirmed online? Seeing all the threads about it, I just wouldn't get my hopes up!
I think some sort of online play was confirmed, but no one said anything about playing Smash online, it COULD be just a mini-game or something... but considering that most people just assumed that is was regular play online, it would dissapoint a lot of people to make it not online play, so they pretty much have to do it (if it wasn't their original intention anyway, I even think Brawl's entire idea was based on online play ,too)

Well, it first depends on what characters are going to be in the start-up roster, because I want to wait until all of them have been announced, and then, since I don't have a Wii quite yet, I'm going to play around with them all, and see which one fits me best.. beat the single-player mode, unlock a few characters maybe, explore the game a little bit, before trying the online segment. :)

Hmmm, no, I have easy access to competitive local play, so online probably wont be my main interest. Besides, my connection isn't that good and I dont have plans to upgrade it anytime soon.

I think I'd be too afraid to go online by myself. I'd wait until me and a friend could go on together from 2v2 team action!

Probably party with my friends all day and night with the game, then the next day *IF* everyone goes home, I'll play online. ;)

I'm gonna try out all the character to see which characters suits me best. Then unlock most of the boards, try story mode, then play online.

If Strikers online is anything to go by you won't have to unlock characters to play them online. Although I have to say back in May when I first took Strikers online I was pretty pissed that they were all unlocked.

I'll get everything unlocked that way I won't feel at a disadvantage and also won't be spoiled.

I will suck.. pretty darn hard.

But I'll go online if its available, almost instantly. Better to start practicing against real players than the lame CPU.

After a few matches I'll start the story/one player to try and unlock some stuff. Zelda will be my character and so far it looks like she'll be a starting character so I'm good.

I'm gonna go to practice mode to get a feel for the game first. Then once I'm done doing that, I will attempt to unlock characters and then get online.
