When will you start smashing Online?

If you buy you're SSBB and Online Mode is aviable at the first day will you instantly start playing?
Will you wait until you got all chars unlocked, or will you practice first?

I will start playing Online as soon as I can.
First I'll unlock all Stages, if there are important ones for league play (like FD or so in SSBM).
But i think getting beaten by beter plays still gives you more expirience then practicing with Computers all day.
Also i guess the servers will be totally unstable for the first few weeks and crash alot.

If there is a talking thing, or even something as simple as a typing thing like MP:H, I will LOVE to see the reactions of people when I four stock them, I've always wanted to educate the world about smash

Do you think it's a better training to loose against some good players online, then just practicing in Training Mode and against Computers?

I'll probably test out two or three characters in the span of 15 minutes to see how they've changed, then go online for a while. I'll start unlocking everything and testing out all characters the next day. Dude I'm getting so excited.

When Brawl releases my friends and I are going to have a Brawl party with several TVs, Wiis, and soda. We're just gonna turn on our Wiis with Brawl at the exact same time and play our hearts out. We'll probably do this for a good 24 hours.

I'm sure I'll have quite a bit unlocked by that point and have tested quite a bit of stuff, but even the I probably won't test online. I also want to experiment with every controller layout.

What about LAN? You know, playing your buddy on his Wii in Brawl who is right next to you. I hope LAN play is available.

After I unlock all characters and settle on the few I want to focus on. Maybe. I'll be more intent on getting in person competition early on. Don't want to mess myself up playing computers and laggy online opponents. Then later on I'll mess around online depending on how the lag situation is. If it sucks I won't even use it unless I'm desperately bored.

I doubt it. As it stands, Brawl is a four player game, tops. Where would the need come from?

I guess the lagg and so on will be like in Strikers Charged.I bet it'll be even worse.
At the first few weeks i wasn't able to connect to the online servers 90% of the time.
When i was connected I either had horrible laggs or the server crashed and i got disconnected

well its not like halo where the screen gets spilt up and you don't want anyone to look at your section. everybody has one screen so what would be the point of lan?

Well, it depends on the starter characters. I could be happy with the starting roster, or wanna unlock some of my more anticipated characters. And I'll have to get a feel of the game first. I'm sure there will be people who think since they're good at Melee they'll be automatically good at Brawl. Of course with Melee, you couldn't use the N64 controller, lol. Still, I'm gonna get use to it first. Besides, I'll probably have a problem connecting to the internet anyway, I'm gettin' Brawl and a Wii on the same day, since I'm basically done with games besides Smash since Smash is like... the best game ever.

Is it true that ranking isnt in brawl because sakurai didnt want the game to be about competition? Im so confused because I hear people who sound certain that ranking is in yet I hear people saying ranking wont be in. Can I get a link that confirms that ranking is or is not in Brawl.

P.S. I will only play online the first day only just to see the lag and pwn nubs.

Edit: There could be a chance that you have unlock online possibly after getting all chars and stages. Im pretty sure sakurai is taking in consideration that you could be spoiled by seeing the all the chars in the game from online play.
