i know theres many ways to lose you double/second jump. but im the kind of person that even tho i dont have it ill push X a billion times before i go to my up B. i just want to know all(maybe impossible to find out) the situations that you will have no second/double jump. any i know alot of people will just mooch off this but for every view of this thred i want to see a reply. so ill start off with........once you use your second jump you cant do it again unless you are grabed mid-air then you get it back :p come on people this could be useful

That is the only reason you lose it, by using it.

I'm guessing what you're talking about is when you think you still have that second jump left, and then you hit X/Y at the precise moment you want to use it and suddenly its not there. Then you might press X/Y once more, costing you about half a second of falling time, and probably putting you out of range of your up+b.

Yea this happens sometimes and you just have to be aware of when you use it. It can be hard to spot but usually it's when you're in the air and you jump again, and you were hit a split second into your 2nd jump animation, thus ending it. So it might have looked like you did not use your second jump.

Well I listened to "Doin' pretty good, I'm scared." enough.

My guess is that because you were sent off spinning, you were still stunned (at such a high dmg) and you couldn't use the jump. Notice how you do the knee when you're way below the stage, exactly when the spinning animation ended. When you spin, you're stunned, and maybe it was your DI from that that sent you offstage, which was unlucky.

By the way, make a vid of you vs your cousin when you start pwning more with falcon. I just want to hear his outbursts when he gets dair stomped to knee rofl.

Whenever I DI up it makes me jump out of the combo which I think is stupid.

Overloaded buttons are gay.

that was a good match, sucks that you lost the jump, you had a good comeback and almost killed him until the jump messed you up. But i must say, that commentary was hilarious

More importantly, you should just forget this crap and Be thinking, why am I getting knocked off the stage. There is your real problem.

Also, learn Lcanceling.

Because getting grabbed leads to the implication that your character is touching the ground. Which in finality is the way to get your double jump back.

You lose it by using it, that is correct, even if you do not see it's results (i.e. rapidly getting hit out of it). You get it back by touching the ground.

Yeah you just missed the timing on that jump. You would have grabbed the edge anyway if you hadn't DI'd incorrectly too. Learn to dashdance to fake out this foo.

u always grabbed and threw up try throwing down for more combos or tech chasing. Ya that spinning knock out was weird , maybe because of the high but at the end of it i saw u use u knee, i think a recovery was possible.
