see topic. what song is like your "theme song". like what song reminds you of you? it can be up to 3. you don't have to, but provide links if you can so people can listen to them if they haven't. it MUST have lyrics. if it's in a game or movie, state the movie or game, (duh!) and if you want, you don't have to, state what part in a movie it was.

1: Shadow the Hedgehog video game. "I am all of me". Link -->http://www.sega.com/gamesite/shadow/base.html
2: Rocky 4. "Eye of the tiger" (At the credits) (Can't find a link)
3: need for speed underground. "And the hero will drown". same as above.

Probably out eating some dirt or something.
I'd say probably "Yesterday" by The Beatles because I always do things I end up regretting in the end and I always wish I could go back to the day before and stop it from happening.

Lyrics:

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly, I'm not half the man I used to be,
There's a shadow hanging over me.
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Why she had to go I don't know she wouldn't say.
I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, love was such an easy game to play.
Now I need a place to hide away.
Oh, I believe in yesterday.
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm...............................................................................

I have 3 songs that I can most identify with and when played, I stop what I am doing to listen to them.

1. Sympathy for the Devil (Rolling Stones) - This stems from a dream actually. I was sitting in a dark room and I could hear screams outside and once I managed to get out, people were terrified as the song started playing (I have an alarm clock radio) and it just stuck with my for years.

2. Kashmir (Led Zeppelin) - Epic sounding song, through and through.

3. The Sky is Crying/Since of Been Loving You (SRV's version/Led Zeppelin) - This two songs were what got me into Blues and what got me back into guitar playing and made me find my true passion. When I hear these two songs, it's the closest I ever come to shedding a tear. The emotion, the passion, and the pain is so evident in both SRV's and Robert Plant's voices. Amazing songs.

I'm surprised you didn't come into this topic, say Children of Bodom - In Your Face with your reasoning being that you had look at loads of crap topics like this one and close the thread, then if anyone whinged you would point them to said song. Although, that does sound more like something Hiemie would do...

Seeing as i'm here, I might aswell post on topic. I don't really have a song, back when I was 12/13 I related to some Feeder lyrics, then I didn't really relate to anything for ages, only really one song since then. CoB's Touch Like Angel of Death, seems petty now but i guess everyone experiences it.

With music i just picture scenes while walking through public places as it comes my ear phones, usually drowns everything out despite not being too loud. My imagination is too weird sometimes. Oh Norther, how i do love thee.

Faint, by Linkin Park.
I think that song kicks some major ***.
i also like "in the end". i think it's by linkin park. it's the video on the right on the top on my video page:

http://www.freewebs.com/shinryukendojo/extras.htm

it's a page where I keep some of my favourite vids, along with a couple of wii sports ones 'cause I like the game. one is of a guy bowling a 300 in bowling, (extremely hard), and another one is of a guy bowling a 297. he throws it wrong, and only hits 7 out of the 10 pins.....it's hilarious!

The Impression That I Get by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

I have no idea what the words are except for the first two lines.

Have you ever been close to tragedy, or close to some folks who have?
The feeling is so powerful, so heavy you collapse.

I've never had extremely sad moments, but dont those lines sound so poetic? :)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gik_qXgDMZs

I like the guy who only dances and doesn't play and instrument or sing.

Sorry. V

Stairway to Heaven, by Led Zeppelin. Jeah, I know it's cliche, but it's still **** good.

Where Is My Mind, by The Pixies. You probably know this song from the end of Fight Club.

Wonderwall, by Oasis. You probably barely know this song.

Cowboys from hell- Pantera

Crank the volume up!!

Under the lights where we stand tall
Nobody touches us at all
Showdown, shootout, spread fear within, without
We're gonna take what's ours to have
Spread the word throughout the land
They say the bad guys wear black
We're tagged and can't turn back

You see us comin'
And you all together run for cover
We're takin over this town

Here we come reach for your gun
And you better listen my friend, you see
It's been slow down below,
Aimed at you we're the cowboys from hell
Deed is done again, we've won
Ain't talking no tall tales friend
'Cause high noon, your doom
Comin' for you we're the cowboys from hell

Pillage the village, trash the scene
But better not take it out on me
'Cause a ghost town is found
Where your city used to be
So out of the darkness and into the light
Sparks fly everywhere in sight
From my double barrel, 12 gauge,
Can't lock me in your cage

You see us comin'
And you all together run for cover
We're takin over this town

Here we come reach for your gun
And you better listen my friend, you see
It's been slow down below,
Aimed at you we're the cowboys from hell
Deed is done again, we've won
Ain't talking no tall tales friend
'Cause high noon, your doom
Comin' for you we're the cowboys from hell .....F*** yeah!!

Holy wars- Megadeth

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXdDkcFo55Y

Brother will kill brother
Spilling blood across the land
Killing for religion
Something I dont understand

Fools like me,who cross the sea
And come to foreign lands
Ask the sheep,for their beliefs
Do you kill on gods command?

A country thats divided
Surely will not stand
My past erased,no more disgrace
No foolish naive stand

The end is near, its crystal clear
Part of the master plan
Dont look now to israel
It might be your homelands

Holy wars

Upon my podium,as the
Know it all scholar
Down in my seat of judgement
Gavels bang,uphold the law
Up on my soapbox,a leader
Out to change the world
Down in my pulpit as the holler
Than-thou-could-be-messenger of god

Wage the war on organized crime
Sneak attacks,repel down the rocks
Behind the lines
Some people risk to employ me
Some people live to destroy me
Either way they die

They killed my wife, and my baby
With hopes to enslave me
First mistake...last mistake|
Paid by the alliance,to slay all the giants
Next mistake...no more mistakes|

Fill the cracks in,with judicial granite
Because I dont say it,dont mean I aint
Thinkin it
Next thing you know, theyll take my thoughts away
I know what I said, now I must scream of the overdose
And the lack of mercy killings

Applies because like it or not, one day I'm going to achieve something, so I need something to apply to my struggle ;C

3)Lagwagon - Choke
No link but whatever.
Expresses my general disgust with humanity.

Aren't I just a beaming ray of sunshine today?

1) Above the Winter Moonlight- Dragonforce. Great song, just gets you full of energy. Great guitar too

2) When I'm gone- Eminem. This song is awesome. I want it to play at my funeral, no joke...

3) Stairway to Heaven- Led Zepplin. As Sensai said, it's a little cliche, but still one of the deepest and best songs. Ever

Almost Dead- Shadow the Hedgehog (Bush's theme)

No more gods, no more graves
Are you friend or fiend?
No more life, no more death
Somewhere in between
No more gods, no more graves
Are you friend or fiend?
No more life, no more death
Somewhere in between
Well, we're almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Heaven can't save us, hell is a joke
No place left to go
What you see you cannot believe
But, when we rise you'll know
Well, we're almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Well, we're almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Well, we're almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world
Almost dead, almost dead
Almost dead to the world Well, we're almost dead...

___

Anyway's, I say my theme-song would be The Neverhood.
