This is the same thing at my school. Well, I do know a few people who play Zelda and Nintendo, stuff like that, but the majority plays Halo. You see, this is what led me to... not liking Halo so much. I don't mean any offense, but I get SO tired of hearing about it so much in my school.

Ha! I wish I could say that about myself. I hate it when people think they are better then me. But whatever, I just shrug it off. My high schools pretty cool (besides the freshmen). I just hang out with all my "nerdy" friends.

A bit off topic here.
I can't bring myself to hang out with real nerds, I'm sort of a nerd myself but I don't advertise it or anything but most real nerds I've met are so arrogant I wouldn't be able to bring myself to hang out with them regularly without getting into an argument. I prefer to do my nerd business alone.

I use "nerd" lightly. I mean, people who have played some video games, and would get some internet jokes. I don't mean high pants, plaid shirt, pocket protector nerds, just some friends. Most the time, we don't really talk games, it's just nice to add a "FALCON PUNCH" the the conversation, and have some laughs.

My school is currently undergoing construction because it used to be two seperate buildings and now they're combining them into one. We used to have to walk between buildings to get to our next class, and during a famous Winnipeg -50 degree winter, thats not the funnest thing to do. The crappy thing about the construction is that the machines are loud, annoying, and they won't be done until sometime next year. So we'll have to walk around the construction, in the freezing cold for five months of the year. Fun. Maybe it's not the school that sucks, maybe it's living in Winnipeg Canada that sucks, but the construction is still pissing me off.

Besides that the school isn't that bad. Some teachers deserve to be stabbed in the eye with a pencil but thats about it.

Oh yeah, I just rememberd. Gym class is retarted now.

Instead of having a regular Gym class, we have to get 110 hours of outside physical activity and write it down and hand it in. It's stupid, everything from walking to school to Guitar Hero counts as Gym hours.
Along with that we have 50 or so in class classes where we talk about what we can do to keep healthy and stuff. It sucks. On top of that, the classes are everyday, both simesters, and get this, during my freaking lunch break. The class is mandatory, yet they are placing it during MY free time. I call BS.

At my school, people don't talk about halo, they talk about how much sex they get and GTA. This happend today in my second period english class:

The worst part was that our teacher just stood there watching.........


According o EQAO and other tests, my school is one of the dumbest schools in Toronto...........
