That's incredibly silly, i'm not adding that option. If SSB4 fails competitively, THEN IT WILL BE LIKE BRAWL, and if you are a Brawl fan, why wouldn't you like it if it was like Brawl?Maybe because I like Brawl more than Melee?
From your point of view, Brawl is not an option. From MY point of view, Melee is not an option.
I'm seeking attention? Wow, I don't recall giving an honest opinion being "attention seeking." According to what I picked on your lacking poll, I will stick with SSB4 regardless.
If I truly ended up not liking SSB4, which I highly doubt will happen, I'd go back to Brawl before I ever went to Melee. Surely, that doesn't that bother you?
Brawl has tripping andThat's incredibly silly, i'm not adding that option. If SSB4 fails competitively, THEN IT WILL BE LIKE BRAWL, and if you are a Brawl fan, why wouldn't you like it if it was like Brawl?
I mean, I can't believe you actually said that. I hate to say this (and please nobody say "NO IT ISNT BRAWL 2.0 ITS ORIGINAL because if heard that enough" but SSB4 is kind of Brawl 2.0, so I have no idea why in the world someone would want to go back to Brawl.
Why would anyone want tripping?Brawl has tripping and, that's good enought to me. But why no 64?
So you admit that bias is why you didn't add the most balanced game in the series? Why would anyone want tripping?
Because 64 is kind of outdated and even I play 64 from time to time, but it's not the main smash game I go back to.
But the poll isn't about you, you're asking other people. Why would anyone want tripping?
Because 64 is kind of outdated and even I play 64 from time to time, but it's not the main smash game I go back to.
Give me a good reason to add it, and tripping is not a good reason. So you admit that bias is why you didn't add the most balanced game in the series?
I was talking about smash 64, not brawlGive me a good reason to add it, and tripping is not a good reason.
Also Snake, hasn't been disconfirmed for SSB4 yet.
Smash 64 is great, but uhh... who would go back to that as their main game besides Isai? I play it from time to time, as I said, it's still really fun, but as a main smash game, I find it outdated, and I thought other people would too, so that's why I didn't add it -.-I was talking about smash 64, not brawl
Option 1 or 5 fits your case. The options here sound forced:
There should a 6th option, I just like playing Smash.
- I'll just keep playing it, i'm casual.
- I'll go back to Melee.
- I'll go back to Project M.
- I'll quit playing Smash entirely.
- I'll play it competitively even if it has serious flaws.
It's the series' most balanced game, this pole isn't just about you.Smash 64 is great, but uhh... who would go back to that as their main game besides Isai? That is the thing though. What may be considered a flaw to some would not hinder the experience of others.Smash 64 is great, but uhh... who would go back to that as their main game besides Isai? Option 5 fits you then. You don't care if Smash 4 has competitive problems, you'll still play it.That is the thing though. What may be considered a flaw to some would not hinder the experience of others.
Option 1 doesn't work either because I play Melee and Project M competitively with my buddies.
Though I also like playing Smash.
It isn't and that's why I asked others. I didn't expect a bunch of people to whine that there is no Brawl or 64 when i'd assume that players of those games don't care how SSB4 stands up competitively. It's the series' most balanced game, this pole isn't just about you.
That is the thing though. Even if it is not completely competitive I would not find that as a serious flaw. No options on this poll fit me and my perspective.Option 5 fits you then. You don't care if Smash 4 has competitive problems, you'll still play it.
Then just make a less biased poll.\
I mean seriously guys, im sick of replying to all this, vote or don't vote, if you don't think the poll has enough options.
Then you're either inconsiderate or ignorant or both. Assuming that competitive players other than that of Melee or PM don't care about the next Smash, especially considering the amount of overlapping in the communities, is absurd. It isn't and that's why I asked others. I didn't expect a bunch of people to whine that there is no Brawl or 64 when i'd assume that players of those games don't care how SSB4 stands up competitively.
You don't have to find it as a flaw. That is the thing though. Even if it is not completely competitive I would not find that as a serious flaw. No options on this poll fit me and my perspective.
I'd think that people of Brawl and 64 would LIKE the new smash whether it's competitive or not. Then you're either inconsiderate or ignorant or both. Assuming that competitive players other than that of Melee or PM don't care about the next Smash, especially considering the amount of overlapping in the communities, is absurd.
Voting for Option 5 has me associate it as a Serious Flaw when I don't.You don't have to find it as a flaw.
Option 5 fits for both
Well then you are just being picky, I can't add any more poll options, sorry.Voting for Option 5 has me associate it as a Serious Flaw when I don't.
Ask if a Moderator can do it.Well then you are just being picky, I can't add any more poll options, sorry.
For the last time! I can't change the poll options! Quit complaining about it.Seriously, an easier poll would've been
1. Doesn't matter, I'll still play it.
2. I'll go back to an earlier iteration of Smash.
3. I'll play both old and new.
4. I'm done with the series.
____
Your question is if it fails competitively. We already know where other versions of smash stands competitively, you don't have to make an option for each game.
People still play Brawl competitively, so no, it's not silly to imagine they would go back to it if they wanted.
Wouldn't it have been easier to just putWell then you are just being picky, I can't add any more poll options, sorry.
*waves hand and says hi*Can we just stop arguing about poll options? If you want to add Brawl and 64, go make your own thread, sick of replying to these posts, and no, i'm not biased, I just THOUGHT that people who liked Brawl wouldn't care how SSB4 stood up competitively.
