I'm going to have to give it to Murasame Castle. If there's one old series that I'd like to be revived, it's easily that one.

Honestly, I'm expected it to be stomped by F-Zero in the end because many people want more of Falcon's high speed racing and bounty hunting since GX.

TBH, this was the result I expected from the beginning. BUT all of the OTHER results were very surprising and nice to see.


Since this tourny is over. . all that's really left is to talk about revivals we want in general. Unless someone has another idea of course.

Regardless, thank you all for your participation. I was worried this would be over by day 2.




As for revivals, i would really love a new Kid ICarus game. . . but in 2d. Kid Icarus NES was super duper fun for me and I would love to see some kind of modern take on it. Also more Kid Icarus is always good for me.

I'm surprised that F-Zero lost to Golden Sun then won decisively against GS again. Even before the tourney started I had a feeling F-Zero was going to win but it's loss to Golden Sun made me reconsider for a bit.

As for revivals you guys all know what I want revived (my avi makes it obvious). More specifically I want a new Advance Wars game on the NX that takes place in Wars World again with Andy as the lead. The game would obviously have a whole new look graphically given that it would be in HD and in 3D. The main selling point of the game provided the rumors of NX being a hybrid is true is being able to start a battle on your TV, take said battle on the go with your handheld, and then complete the battle once you get back home on your TV. This was the concept 64 Wars was going to have using the Transfer Pak but the game got cancelled so it can be re-implemented with an NX title. In addition to all that their can be a huge component of multiplayer by having both local multiplayer with having someone face you playing on the big screen or facing someone on the go using the handheld in addition to having online multiplayer which is hype on it's own. Hopefully all this will lead to a certain mechanical whiz kid to make his way into Smash Bros.

Other than AW I want Golden Sun 4 because it's annoying that they ended Dark Dawn on a cliffhanger and I want to see how Isaac's story ends. That and F-Zero which I think has a pretty good chance of being revived on the NX.

I'll never understand why they didn't revive it on the 3DS...it would have been perfect with the dual screen gameplay so you can see above ground and underground at the same time.

There needs to be a new Golden Sun, I freaking love that game. Fast Racing Neo is a little comparative to F-zero but not too sure about how similar the 2 really are since one is modern and i haven't played any f-zero games.

I'm surprised no one wants a revival of modern excite bike lol.

That was in 2009, which is 7 years ago (It's been that long already) and then there's Fast Racing Neo which isn't too far off of a F-Zero Remake. That's not really what you'd call a "Regular interval".

But the excitebike is pretty bland, i'd take f-zero over that any day.
