What Is Your Favorite Marth Attack?

Hey all, it’s me, Miguel again. Before I start this post, I just wanted to thank those of you who watched my matches in my last post, and special thanks to those who took the time to leave me a comment. Those comments meant so much to me. I'll be sure to post more matches in the future. I might switch my color to red…maybe. ^^

The topic I have in mind today isn't really a major one. Just for the sake of conversation really. What is your favorite Marth attack? If you feel like saying why you may...its totally optional. The Nair would be mine; I think it’s the coolest looking nair in the game. Although the double fair is my trump card, I love Marth's nair overall. I think most Marth players enjoy the nair as well, since many of us perform it with wave-dashing after we claim a stock. ^^

Marth's Up B is sexy. It's not really that usefull as an attack (though I manage to pull it off pretty often) but it just looks so cool. ZOMG Up B kill FTW.

Nair is the mo' hotness still and yes it's the preferred psuedo taunt of choice for sure. Definitely the coolest looking nair in the game.

I like the forward smash because when you hit someone with it pisses ppl off when you get 3 f-smashes in a row.

Sagemoon, if you get that many..either you are mindgaming like mad or your foes suck.

Mine would be the counter, pulling it off at unexpected times leads to awe and amazement.

Lol i never said it was the best thing to use, but i just think its hilarious when it happends. Expecially vs newbs who dont have mindgames.

The Dolphin Slash, or UP B is a very effective tool. I love doing the reverse dolphin slash out of a dash dance. It can kill almsot any character (assuming they are 50% or higher) quite easily. Give it a go...you won't be dissappointed. ^^

Down tilt, You can dash out of it to a grab or shield. Plus its really gay, edgeguarding people, though i use it in conjunction with fsmash.

and sonic wave, the up-b can save you just like counter can but the counter is so much more...bad-(censored word).

Lol reverse dolphin slash FTW. Anyway my favorite move is the forward B. It has so many uses and if you can pull it off, spiking some1 with it is just oh so sexy.

I'm a big fan of the uair myself. Not too many Marths use it alot, so I try and integrate it into my game.

I'm perfectly aware the up B can save me in certain situations. I just posted a video where it did. Falco ledgehop double lasered me and I up B'd him right after getting hit.

Well, it's not a single move but the Ken combo (Fair to Dair) is nasty when pulled off. The other player should just feel bad after that.

Anyways <<
How can you guys' favorite moves not be grab and f-smash? Do you even play this character? (I'm somewhat kidding, I realize "favorite" does not equal "best"...)

I didn't mean they should give up on playing or anything but landing a Ken Combo is something that once you have done it you pause drop the controller do a little dance (preferable something mocking and stupid) and laugh at the level of skill you display as well as the situation which allowed for said combo to happen.

Yea those are very dance worthy moves but that would call for something extravagant like a backflip or claim to the opponent's control because they are unworthy.

That wasn't a joke.

Velox, grab to f-smash works at low %'s where they are much better combos options..either that or your opponent is paying attention to the way you throw them.

Marth's best move is not his grab to f-smash in any way. As that would be two moves to begin with but even if counted as one, its not that great...the f-air to d-air beats that if you want to combine things.

I'd can't say his best move as his fair is great and his f-smash is great but his grab setup for the f-smash isn't that good.

not only was he obviously not talkin about grab INTO f smash but even if he was, who do u think u are actin like only ppl wit bad DI get hit by it anyway? you = suck

well for me i say is the counter cuase it takes u from crazy combos and helps you alot in the tornuments trust me expirenced

thats where I get the grab to f-smash from.

I'm not about to agrue something so stupid with people like that.
