Warning Spoilers for Naruto Fans.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9nVj72RwM8

One: What if the game really did play like this.
Two: Yes I know you can use GC controllers but what if you couldn't like in this game.

This was like the only Naruto Fighting game series I ever liked and now that they made it really crappy on Wii I'm starting to get worried about how fighting games would turn out and not only that other games on the Wii. Luckly for us we can GC controllers for Brawl.

In all fairness, Naruto was already a crappy fighting game to begin with. (I see brightly lit fire from Naruto fans in the back....)

I agree.. I'm a big Naruto fan.. Read new chapters every week and stuff.. But really now, if it played like Naruto... I'd say screw SSB Franchise. >_>

If you mean what if it used Wii-Mote? Well, it doesn't. It's using Gamecube Controllers.

They never said that they will use GC controllers.

If they dont..I hate classic controller...so i will be quite pissed and I will stick to melee.

He said he knows it plays with a Cube controller (I hope classic as well because I have 3 wavebirds and 1 classic), but he's saying it's a good thing it doesn't play like Naruto.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh what if they let us use the wiimote but get this...
let us push the buttons.

The wiimote has enough buttons to play Smash, why would you have to shake it and stuff?

A to attack, B to attack, the big button on the nunchuk for shield, the little one for grab, and the D-pad can replace the C-stick. Or, no C-stick, and the D-pad can jump. I never liked the C-stick that much anyway.

Actually, the Third Naruto fighter game and on are really good. of course, those are import, but, still I agree that the first one sucked, I didnt even bother playing the second, but yea, third and fourth. anyway,it plays less like a generic fighter then you'd think

Ok ok, sorry had to defend my favorite anime series...

But I'd still rather brawl stay in line with the rest of series.

No that's totally awesome.

But really, the third and on of that series are pretty cool. But that series is mostly about the visuals looking cool as you play along with the attitude of the characters.

Smash isn't like that. The Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen series isn't that deep when it comes to the fighting. However Smash, while easy to pick up, is very complicated when it gets down to advanced tactics.

Now let's look at the other facts. The fighters that pull this system on the Wii, have fanchises on other systems aswell. They won't die by being different.

Smash however, not so much the case. It's sink or swim for them everytime. And logic seems to point out that swaying from the current scheme would be a bad move.

Why would Brawl be played this way...? We all already know Brawl will play exactly like the first two smash games, it would be stupid to think otherwise.
That's not entirely accurate. We don't know this for sure yet. There's the outside chance that while they will incorperate the classic controller, they may go back on their initial word on this. Also as stated on the podcast there are concerns that for marketing purposes they may with to again show off the Wiimote.

While I agree it will use the classic control scheme, don't get to hastey to assume that will be the case.
