If you space and hit a f-air do you continue with a...
1. another f-air kinda like the ken combo?
2. first hit of n-air and auto combo with a grab or side b?
3. u-air then u-tilt?
4. neutral b?
5. side b?
6. up b?
7. fast fall and adjust to the situation?

a lot of people have been telling me to space double f-air and i'm thinking to myself what's the point in spacing the second f-air if you're going to miss since the opponent is going to be out of reach. so what i do when i land a f-air i follow with another non spaced f-air kinda like the ken combo or use side b combo. these won't always work and sometimes aren't safe. so i'm asking the marth boards for help on what to do after you land a f-air and which one actually combos.

Answer:
Change it every time. Basically everything that you can do allows for a reaction from your opponent. If you have the mindset that after every fair you land you'll do x thing, all they have to do is figure out how to counter it with y and you're screwed. Vary it up between them.

Just don't do anything that leaves you vulnerable....If you can hit them, it doesn't matter if it was the safest move or not, somehow you hit them and your plan worked, as long as you don't get punished for what you do.

The fair can be auto cancelled, so you can follow up with any move that works for the situation. I commonly SH fair into a dtilt or ftilt to approach. If you catch them running in and they are at high % I will sometimes fsmash or dsmash...sometimes.

You have options after f-air.

if your close

1.Do one more F-air.
2.Buffer d-tilt traps
3.Dancing blade.
4.U-air

if your far

1. fast fall back
2. run in for a grab,
3. dancing blade.
4. F-air.(i suggest not too unless you wana get shield grab)
