He calls himself a news reporter: he isn't, no more than Rachel Maddow, Lou Dobbs, or that one guy on HBO who I can't remember right now cause I'm so tired. He is the equivalent of an editorial writer. His job is to express his opinion. He could go an entire show without talking about the news and just express his opinion. Its not wrong, its just what he is.

meh

For the most I don't agree with his opinions, and I also wish he didn't try to pass his show off as news. But he's not the only one guilty of trying to say his show is news (a lot of MNSBC as well as other Fox news reporters do this to) so I don't blame him too much for this. Since I don't agree with his opinions, I just don't watch his show.

Glenn Beck is just doing his job, so I feel that we should just let him do it.

Glenn Beck works for Faux News... and that should tell you everything. Faux News is a complete joke of a "news" channel. When you say you're "fair and balanced", yet your main guys are right-wing zealots such as Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, and Ann Coulter, even a monkey knows something's up.

As for Glenn Beck, well... he can't spell. OLIGARHY FTW.

MSNBC is arguably as bias as Fox News, just in the opposite direction.
However, MSNBC doesn't run republican protest, MSNBC doesn't host partisan political meetings, among the other political activities of Fox News.

<_____< Oh lord He's odd. What really drives me crazy is when people say Fox news is "an unbiased channel with the truth." I just heard that one today at school. That's not to say CNN or msnbc isn't liberal in views, but saying only a certain news channel is 100% true and unbiased is bull****. How could you actually believe that?

Meh, I don't think too much of him. He basically earns money (and a fanbase) talking to conservative America on what he thinks about the current happenings in the world. He is biased, no question. But everyone is biased in one way or another. Personally, I just choose not to watch him, and watch CNN instead. CNN, IMO is currently the least biased news network there is.

Personally, I don't think MSNBC is as biased as Fox. I think everyone just has it drilled into their heads that the media in general leans hard left. Fox is by far the most biased "news" station. I put news in quotes because once you put (D) next to two Republicans enveloped in scandal and run Barack Osama on your ticker, you shouldn't be given the same credibility as those organizations (MSNBC) who just report one side of the news.

Glen Beck is an illiterate, stupid douche who learned only one thing, that screaming at people wins more American hearts and minds than a properly formed argument.

I wish people would stop saying MSNBC is as bias.

On MSNBC, there's the conservative show Morning Joe which is on for three hours in the morning. And then there are three hours of liberal shows at night.

So according to that, MSNBC is actually the least bias. Which is more than I can say for any liberal slanted show on Fox News (which is none)

And I would say what I think about Glenn BEck. But I'll risk getting banned.

Joe Scarborough. Can you name one liberal on Fox News?

Yes, MSNBC does lean left pretty definitively. But please. Fox New is not more balanced. And Fox's primetime line-up is much more aggressively base-coddling than MSNBC's (even with Olberman dogging all the major conservative media personalities every night). At least Olberman and Maddow will express concern with some of Obama's actions (or failures to act). I've never seen anyone at Fox do so with Bush, nor have I seen them do anything other than slam Obama on everything. Fox News is a lot of things, but balanced it is not. Not that anyone should expect to receive truly balanced news from a television set, no matter what channel it's on.

And Glenn Beck is a fear monger. Some people are entertained by him, which I really can't complain about, but there are also some people who are loony toons enough to believe the conspiracy theories he expounds (I've found one or two crazies on youtube who are evidence of such). Which is a little scary.

Notice how the Fox lovers don't form arguments to back their positions. Stupid, ugly trolls. Why did that news station have to be the one with the coolest name anyway?

and also

Joe Scarborough. Can you name one liberal on Fox News?
Oh oh oh! Alan Colmes! That's a liberal according to Faux News!
/sarcasm

...oh wait. That's right. He got axed and so Hannity & Colmes just turned into the Sean Hannity show. Then again, it wasn't like Hannity & Colmes was fair to begin with lmfao.

The issue with this will always be Meet The Press. Even if MSNBC was run by communist, Meet The Press has been, and will always be the most reliable, the most accurate, and most balanced way to receive news on television. Bringing in a host of guest from both sides and having a host more guide the conversation than lead it, if it weren't for CNN's Sanja Gupta and Fahreed Zakaria (spelling on both of them!! not sure!!) I'd probably only watch Meet the Press for my Sunday news.

There is also one newscaster on there who gives everyone the benefit of the doubt, literally. I've never seen this guy side against anyone until all the facts were known. Chris Matthews is one hell of a guy. He even admits that he loves and favors all politicians because as a kid he wanted so bad to become one, he admires them all for being able to do it.

Around the presidential primaries, Glenn Beck had Ron Paul on and gave him a fairly hard time while claiming to agree with him "in spirit." On further investigation, not even a month earlier Glenn Beck was blasting Ron Paul to one of the other nominees. What does this say? He morphs to appeal to whomever he knows will be watching. Since Paul supporters didn't really support John McCain, he was careful to word his questions that seemed at least favorable.

I consider Glenn Beck nothing more than an actor with a political agenda. As long as Fox News will pay his check, he'll continue to be "edgy." Just like Ann Coulter (one of the men she dated: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Stein) and Rush Limbaugh. While their beliefs are probably on the right-wing spectrum, I cannot believe such miserable people would exist to such extremes unless it's to earn money.

Either way, if you say something enough, you'll start to believe it. I never took psychology, so hopefully someone can confirm that it's actually an observable phenomenon.

Others call him "first and foremost an entertainer, who happens to have stumbled into a position of political prominence." Shepard Smith, a talking head on FOX news that I do not mind listening to (few and far between, though including Greta van Sustern, who seems to be the only one to remember there doesn't need to be a difference between a show host and a reporter) called his show the "fear chamber." He admitted to being an actor.

However, what do I think of him, as a person? He was arrested for speeding in a DeLorean. Obviously, he will age well, slowly realizing that the shell of a man that he is can crack, and he can shed this facade, change his name to Brown, get his doctorate, and subsequently survive an attack by Libyan terrorists through loopholes in time.

Glenn Beck is fine... when I want to be entertained. I'll admit, I laughed pretty hard when he went "One letter is missing!" and then proceeded to say it was "Y" to spell out the word "OLIGARHY".

Also, someone just shoot me...

I'm guessing some stupid internet program caught on that we were talking about Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter, and someone put the ad up. I just wish they would check what we are actually saying about them first.

EDIT: By the time I posted this, the ad isn't there anymore.
