What do you do to beat MK and Snake?

Guys countering is NEVER a safe option. Can it get you out of tight situations? Yes, but so can a jab. Countering is very predictable and EXTREMELY punishable. Whaf are these situations you're reffering to where counter is safe and reliable? If you're being combo'd by MK, air dodge/jump/DI, get to the floor and dash back. MK relies on pressure so back up, asess yourself and keep your spacing tight.

As far as the sh>counter for MK's drill, by the time you hit him he'd probably stop and you'de be left open for punishiment and probably a gimp. It would be wiser to just drop and counter but odds are you would be hit and if not the counter would most likely miss since it freezes you slightly in the air. It would be quite difficult to punish MK for that hence why Neo didn't lol. After all, he IS the best Marth in Brawl right now.

I think he just meant it's a touchy subject. Claiming anyone is the best usually provokes reactions unless it's by a mile.

And dtilt works against an MK who doesn't dtilt you first while you're out of range. His dtilt is longer ranged AND faster. -.-

I retreat my F-airs and D-tilts a lot to try and space MK's approaches. DB and up+B any openings I can spot. I make it a goal to try and get the first stock and ride the 1up as safely as possible. The only thing I've found to be effective against the Snkae players I've played is to pressure with as little mistakes as possible.
