well the mall im talking about is a 3min walk from a wal mart and a sams club...and a costco would be boring. I mean you have to do more than merely survive to survive. If your life is 100% based on living, then you have become a zombie, just trade brains with food. The mall would have entertainment, your hummanity could survive there. That is my point. IDK, if the zombie thing was a virus, which everyone likes nowadays, it would probably mutate into airborne, then game over any way...

i would want to go to a mountain cabin with 2+ attractive females and a bro or two, so that the numbers would be even. people i can hang out with forever/live with comfortably. we would probably swing hella because theres >10 of us alive on the planet.

secluded and hopefully the undead wouldnt bother us. i also hope nature doesnt get ****ed. would need guns and could probably dig a moat around the cabin.

then we'd just live life as rugged outdoorsmen because there is no humanity. if theres power we can bring nintendo. ****

Those places are good except they are often used and everyone will have the same idea to go there. Thats why costco is bad cause zombies can break those huge glass windows and get in. Or if the zombies dont get you some **** will break your barricade to get food and ****.

if there were a zombie outbreak, I'd find a pilot and fly to a relatively unpopulated island. Like one of the smaller islands of Fiji. Then follow all the standard steps from there if necessary, since the outbreak would most likely start in a more densely populated area and might never spread to geographically isolated areas (since mindless zombies wouldn't be able to use air/sea transport and with a mutation into an airborne virus we'd all be ****ed regardless of what we did).

You need two things to survive zombies.
1. Safety
2. Food/water

A tropical island would be great. There would be more than enough fish to eat for protein, plus the island itself would have edible plants and little animals. It would also be great to hang out and stuff. The only problem would be that it would get boring to live on the same island for a long time.

Question: Do zombies stop "living" after a while? After a while they would burn out all of their energy and have no more food to eat, so would simply going somewhere safe and outlasting the zombies be a good plan?

how the **** are you going to go about getting air transportation? the last place you want to go is a heavily populated area like an airport

Well there are other ways to get to islands. There is a thing called water, and the ocean has plenty of it. It is also possible to use water for transportation.

if you had a relatively large group of people and ammunition, you could attempt to brave getting to an airport, storm in to the position, and set up a secured area out on the tarmac while the rest of the group board the plane. Once everybody is inside, they would be relatively safe while the pilot prepares a takeoff. The real trouble is finding a pilot who is still alive and supplies that you might need for the airplane, as well as making sure that the plane has a large enough fuel tank to fly what is essentially a cross-pacific flight.

It's not like communication/other infrastructure would just vanish, people would still be able to band together and organize via online/telecom/etc. An excursion like this could be planned with enough men to fill a plane.

Islands seem crappy as ****. If you get there chances are you will need to leave at some point. Its not like you have unlimited fuel. Or if some how the zombie infection gets on that island your done. And Even if you out last the zombie chaos no one will know if you are on the island and its not like anyone will go looking for some people on a empty island.

If you are gonna take to the waters, you gotta make sure you are experienced! You have to know how to navigate through the ocean and maintain whatever you are using to get there: yacht, freighter, canoe etc. Also, you must have access to these water vehicles in the first place and you must get to them as well! If you are thinking of driving then prepare for road blocks and HUGE traffic slowing you down along the way!

Like Pocky said about flying! Flying means landing on an airport with heavy population! Just like the boat, you gotta have access and experience!

Question: Do zombies stop "living" after a while? After a while they would burn out all of their energy and have no more food to eat, so would simply going somewhere safe and outlasting the zombies be a good plan?
(From the book)
The average zombie "life span" - how long it is able to function before completely rotting away - is estimated at three to five years!

Okay, **** just got real.

People who have been to my house will realize that I am VERY prepared for a zombie invasion. I have a garage/attic that would serve as a fantastic zombie stronghold. It has an open elevated living area (my attic) and the only way to get up to it is by a stand apart ladder that I would pull up to myself. I have the means to live for a very long time in said outbreak.

In my garage/attic I have:

-2 years worth of canned goods/food.

-Enough water bottles to last a year at the rate of a bottle per day.

-A motorcylce with 2 cans of gas. (Easy transportation that I can operate)

-Steel enforced garage door

-Sleeping bags

-Cutlery that can be attached to chair legs for a ranged weapon

-Elevated living area that is 15-feet off the ground (Zombies couldn't get me if they tried)

-Three exits, all of them easily defendable

-Blankets

-Pillows

-About 30 changes of clothes

-Hand charged flashlight

-Only 1 way to gain access to the attic

-A volleyball with a bloody handprint face on it named "Wilson".

I also have real walls in my house instead of the cheap ****, so I'd like to see the zombies break through that.

I've decided to give you guys a visual aid to help you understand.

Wouldn't putting the milk in first not work well in getting a lot of cereal?
Then again, what cereal we talking?

cereal first has less potential to be messy
also you won't know how much cereal to put in now that it's all floating at the top of the milk unless you're actually going by servings

so

cereal first then milk

now i know that im goin to bobby's house

and im bringing a setup
hahahhaa word

also it's cereal before milk
that way, spills are less likely

if you put the milk in first, you need to guess on how much the cereal you put in will contribute to the total volume, since the cereal sinks into the milk

but cereal first means that you can measure everything out beforehand, as the milk will just go between the cracks

it's simple science

REAL men will eat however much cereal they put in the bowl

i like to fill a bowl full of cereal and add milk as necessary

sheridan/fly what do you eat with the cereal? jus cereal? only certain kinds are good that way

milk first is dumb, then it's harder to completely fill ur bowl

Most cereal is good by itself. All of the popular brands like Lucky Charms and Cheerios are fine alone, as well as non-mainstream granola cereal.

Putting cereal in first allows you to judge how much cereal you are going to eat. Personally, I usually fill my bowl about 3/4 of the way with cereal. If you know the correct cereal to milk ratio and then I don't see a problem with putting milk in first, but I wouldn't like to do that because the cereal on top would be dry and the cereal on the bottom would be wet.
