How the hell does anything on the virtual boy make it into anyone's top 10?

My list:

1. Melee
2. Age of Mythology
3. Command and Conquer Generals: Zero Hour
4. Warcraft 3
5. Starcraft (was much more seriously into the online wcIII scene than sc, only reason it scores higher)
6. Tales of Symphonia

7-10 get considerably more vague and there's a ton of games I'd consider for those slots. Obviously I'm partial to RTS games and multiplayer in general over singleplayer games. Melee and AoM get top slots as they were kind of my "gateway drug" games to the competitive gaming scene in general.

Once or twice, many years ago. My memories of Wario Land are greatly overshadowed by my memories of the virtual boy in general.

EDIT: Man, renth, your list has a lot of stuff I can't believe I forgot. Mario RPG should definitely be on my list somewhere, probably right under tales of symphonia. Secret of mana probably lives somewhere in that 8-10th place tie too. That game was nuts.

you'll probably live 5 years longer than the rest of us. i thought that game was ok, but horribly overhyped and overrated. i know saying that on a website where most are Nintendo fans invites trouble, but when have i ever cared about that?

...yeah, that's horrible, dood. so much you have missed out on.
so, if i had to list around 10 games i thoroughly enjoyed, it'd go like this in no particular order: FF4/6/11, most of the FE series, but in particular, FE6, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Intelligence Qube, Secret of Mana, Persona series, Knights in the Nightmare, most of the Suikoden series, Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, and the Gradius series. Unfortunately for me, even though this list goes over 10 games, there are WAY too many games I'd like to have an honorable mention for, like the original Rockman series or Rockman X6, but typing them all out with this PS3 pad is too much...
