Been fooling around with customs and noticed how some are pretty terrible, but what are definitively the worst ones?

The jumping rest one is pretty funJiggs has some awful customs.
I dont see how jiggly is bad at all, sure she aint top tier but she isnt bottom eitherI feel bad for Jiggs: Terrible character, no customs to back her up.
I don't understand the point of this one. I assumed it was for recovery, but you can't grab the ledge when you use it.The jumping rest one is pretty fun
you can hit people who are in the air with the rest, pretty sure the hitbox for it is active until you reach the peak of the jumpI don't understand the point of this one. I assumed it was for recovery, but you can't grab the ledge when you use it.
What uses does it have?
Pound Blitz does seem to be useful with its multi-hitting properties. It's not as easy to shield-grab, and it also seems to help Jigglypuff's horizontal recovery.I agree. Most of Jigglypuff's customs are outright awful.
I don't know. Maybe I just haven't played against any good Jigglies...I dont see how jiggly is bad at all, sure she aint top tier but she isnt bottom either
I definitely know what a bad Jiggly is, but the good ones that actually land the rest and kill you at 50% or bair you and kill you at 70% are really tough to beatI don't know. Maybe I just haven't played against any good Jigglies...
Keep your sorrow to yourself. She's far from terrible. Her customs, however, cause me physical pain.I feel bad for Jiggs: Terrible character, no customs to back her up.
It's the only Rest that you can combo into, so it serves as a somewhat situational KO move. It's actually really fun to use.I don't understand the point of this one. I assumed it was for recovery, but you can't grab the ledge when you use it.

Does it only hit at the ground, or even in the air? It's the only Rest that you can combo into, so it serves as a somewhat situational KO move. It's actually really fun to use.
There is no grounded hitbox, that's why it's called Leaping Rest. It lasts until Jigglypuff reaches the apex of her jump. It's like Rising Dedede on steroids.Does it only hit at the ground, or even in the air?
Koopa Drift isn't all that bad, since even though it packs less power, it's harder to shield-grab. But I will say that Koopa Meteor is quite awful for recovery, since it heavily slows down Bowser Jr.'s horizontal movement, and the move doesn't have any hitboxes before the Koopa Clown Car explodes. As a bowser jr main, I think he has the worst customs so far.
That's quite ironic to say when you consider that some custom specials are actually "better" than the defaults. Dark Fists is a perfect example of this.Honestly, the worst customs are every customs except for Mii fighters and Palutena.
They're the only 2 characters with actual unique customs instead of slight variations of the normal one.
Utility wise though, Zelda's are pretty awful except for maybe one.
Shield break on the phantom is pretty nice.
I don't quite understand. I don't think I implied that the originals were better than the customs for every character. That's quite ironic to say when you consider that some custom specials are actually "better" than the defaults. Dark Fists is a perfect example of this.
For Crazy Orders, I actually modify most of her specials. Pound Blitz, Relentless Rollout, and Leaping Rest all aid in getting that critical First Striker invincibility prior to clearing tickets with the bat.Jiggs has some awful customs.
Again in Crazy Orders, I switch his specials to Air Cannon and Impatient Mechakoopa. Both are very handy in landing the First Striker invincibility. As a bowser jr main, I think he has the worst customs so far.
I agree on Wario's, and while I think Jiggly has some bad customs, I don't think they're all useless. For Crazy Orders, I actually modify most of her specials. I still see no purpose to modify Wario's default neutral special, regardless of competitive or solo mode play.
@ D David Wonn covered the really good points for HL, and I think it might have some use stealing KO's and in 2v2's with team attack on.Surprised no one's mentioned Palutena's Heavenly Light yet. Has some use for it been discovered?
