rPSI don't berate me because I lost a long post and had to start over
It's kinda annoying having to sit around and have the Smash Lab be a bit useless besides discussing some mechanics here and there.
I propose we get things going around here again. We have a lot of talented members in the Smash Lab, and for those that don't really feel like contributing, we might as well tell them to leave or kick them out. In fact I kinda want to convince rPSI if nobody posts in this topic to say where they are or what they're doing we kick them out anyway >_>
Here's what we need to finish, and I'll sticky and tag these as important:
- Standard Terms List 2.0
Starturds, where art thou? Anyway, this is really 3 months overdue and honestly, are we almost done with this, other than some minor edits that are needed? If need be we have a ****ing Skype group now to discuss this in, or at least finish it off in this thread. Let this be priority #1 since it actually seems like we're almost done.
We should assign at least one or two individual lab representatives to each character to test for things at the request of people. Or to become experts in the technical stuff of the characters. I would say one rather than two because two people would make sure and keep tabs to stay productive and they could bounce ideas off each other etc.
We also need to do our April Fools Tier List and Matchup Chart based on Level 9 CPUs in tournament mode.
But I think the first idea would be a really good PR move. The second would be hilarious. And also a good PR moveI actually really like the idea, although I'm not sure we have enough members for that. Maybe we create teams? Each team for a character would have like... four or five people, and each person would be on more than one team or...something.
I am here, and I've just been conducting independent side-projects (not even big enough to post here). My next project is to determine exactly which characters Dedede can CG up the slopes of YI:M... it's already started, but I've put it off for a bit. - Frame/Hitbox Data Repository
There have been countless call-outs from the Brawl community wondering what the hell happened to this. Phase 1 looks 97% done (though it's my fault I'm lagging behind I guess - but I'm almost done with Olimar and his stupid subactions), yet phase 2 hasn't even been touched and phase 3 hasn't even been started. wat. Let's release this in each 3 phases instead of 1 huge package. Every time we finish, look over each phase, etc. let's put this in a sticky in competitive Brawl discussion. To anyone that's signed up in the frame data stuff: what's the progress in your regards? To the newcomers that were accepted into the Smash Lab recently: want to help us out?
Let's get this done as soon as we can. Hopefully with the new Skype chat we can get this done quick.
