Kinda new, had some q.'s:
I know how to wavedash and everything, but it sometimes gets inconsistent. I can do it about 90% of the time. Then there's falcon. For some reason his wavedash seems to be so much more inconsistent-like 70%. Is it just me?

Oh, and when I play other characters, I use it almost all the time (especially marth and fox), but I just forget about it with Falcon. I think I roll too much. Know how to fix it?

Finally, does anyone else have trouble with full jump (horizontal momentum too) and then an uair? I use y to jump but when I shift the control stick from forward to up it makes me dj, even when I tilt and concentrate specifically on that. Help?

Wavedash is just a timing issue. Some characters jump a little slower than others.

Stop rolling for entire matches. See what you come up with without rolling to see what else you could be doing.

Practice. Just be gentle with the control stick or try C-sticking the upair instead, if your fulljumping it you should have plenty of time to c-stick instead of using up and A. Although I use up and A for sh upair just fine. Practice.

wavedash is easier pressing x or y buttons(the timing to press R differs from char to char because of the startup lag from jump animation) and then pressing(while holding diagonally the stick) R (or L but is a real pain in the ***) to dodge onto the land and slide, you can also make it with the stick but i will pay everyone that makes more than 5 wavedashes(consecutives) that way XD

and is better to uair short hopping with the x(or y) button while holding the stick forward(to prevent the loss of momentum) and then use the cstick for the uair(still pressing forward unless you want to shffl it)

Good way to make yourself roll less is just to focus on not rolling ever for about a month or two. I did that when I had just learned wavedashing. At first it 'hurt' my game because it was what I always did to get out of tough situations, but as time went on it ended up making me play better. Just make it a rule that you can never rolldodge and you'll learn to play without it (maybe SD every time you rolldodge--that'll make you learn fast XD ).
