Yes there is a gamecube adapter for your computer.

And A-L I dunno what ggpo style netcode means since I don't play any other games online. It uses Kaillera, like ssb64, to find games which is very easy to use.

The only thing holding it back from being just as popular as say, ssb64 online, is that a lot people's computers aren't good enough to run it at fullspeed. Only a few of the regular online ssb64 players who've tried it can run it fullspeed.

Im pretty sure that since I can run crysis on full settings that I can play Melee, unless it uses a ton of RAM since I only have 4gigs

As long as the multithreading code is good though I'll be solid.
