My friend and I just mess around playing our characters vs each other. I usually do that because I beat him a lot otherwise so this gives him a chance to pick up some Ws while also making me have to focus more on my wario. Granted my sonic loses to about everything >.<.

I couldn't really give you any pointers on this particular b/c I don't think the DDD shields/dodges at all <_<

Lol even though Phantom sounds like a bit of an as*****, he's right. That Dedede got hit by like everything possible and he seemed to forget about dodging attacks. We can give you tips on how to avoid Dedede ****, but it's hard to give those tips when he wasn't... well, doing ANYTHING nasty to Wario. He almost wanted Wario to pummel him it seems.

Play out certain situations over and over to figure out what aerials work best for Wario in certain situations. Like, Dairs works pretty good if you are above them, but Fairs or Nairs might not be the best bet if you are more above him. So just get your opponent into certain positions on the stage and try out all of Wario's aerials and see for yourself what you can do with each one. I mean I could tell you to use more Dairs or whatever in certain places, but it's easier and more effective if you try out that stuff on your own and experiment until you find a good flow.

Thanks. The dedede is actually a decent toon link believe it or not, he tries to learn so many things at once when he picks up a char up he forgets the basics. Anyway, I'll try to get some more vids up vs better competition.

Any time I've played him (which has been pretty often), he's used yellow Luigi.

He -is- good. His issue is that he doesn't vary too much, and he's a bit predictable. Still, with what he does, he does VERY well.

Hey; I have some more tournament matches from last weekend. I was slowly starting to become a PT/Ganon player, but my coming second at Impact Clash was a sobering loss; I'm going to practice Wario much more outside of tournament play now.

Either way, I think I need a bit of work.

Also, either way, here are very recent matches against one of the best Snakes in the nation (and certainly the best player in Florida, if not the Southeast entirely), Afro Thundah. Major kudos to that guy.

Afro was losing to Bass when they played online... guess he's learned the matchup a bit better

Oh boy... you looked really off your game in these matches, man. Kept getting hit by everything XD

Couple tips. When they're near the edge, you can get jab cancelled fsmashes on them to kill them quicker, rather than always going for the 1, 2 punch. Jab cancelled grabs are also great, since Wario's jabs are amazingly high priority and really safe (you can even jab cancel into a bite if you want). Another thing you could mix in a bit is to do a bike jump cypher chase, to upair them near the top of the screen for a quick kill (nvm, you did some of these later).

It would help you to bite Snake more, you can bite the first hit of his ftilt, and you can even eat his Nairs, it's pretty sexy.

Reflex whenever I see you play against Snakes, you seem on edge playing against them. I can't put my finger on it, but you just seem to play a bit differently against Snakes than against most of the cast.

It's cool, I mean you fought him pretty smart, it just seemed you were almost over prepared to punish Snake when he got caught in a bad position and you ended up missing because you tried to punish him too quickly.

A good example of what I mean; at lower %'s when you would do an Uthrow, you would usually immediately try to follow and get a clap off. He usually just DJ'd away and airdodged and landed safely. Instead of trying to put pressure on him immediately like that, just wait after the throw and see if he DJ's. If he does, do a single jump near the peak of his DJ and either wait and see if you can punish an airdodge or from that point do a quick DJ and clap if you think you can surprise him fast enough. Or if you feel naughty you can wait for them to airdodge and near the ground do an Fsmash or Waft lol. :O

Basically you played against Snake just fine, but whenever he got into bad situations you seemed to be trying to force him to mess up even further when all you need is to just wait a tad and react to his mistake. If you can clap him once out of an airdodge, and he has no jumps left, it basically resets the position, so you just wait again. Trust me it will come more naturally after playing against Snake some more.

I liked the dr mario guy vs tl matches. I have trouble with tl's and was looking for a consistent way to play against him. It seems like dodging his projectiles and letting his approach is a good idea. Also approaching above his head instead of playing a heavy short hop approach because his projectiles cover that range (yoshi island is a very bad place to play a TL). I think using grabs and grab variation to remain unpredictable for follow up combo's is also very good. and just wait to punish when TL approaches. ofcourse Tl can space very well so you may have to be a bit patient. It's good to approach tl to put on the pressure but you can leave your self open big time when trying to dodge all projectiles including his zair.

Because I haven't played that game for seven months, and have no intention of playing it again. I'm just updating the topic, and I'm not about to go search all over youtube for God knows what else came up that I'm not really interested in.
